Seth Rogen’s fans are waiting for the actor and filmmaker to speak up on the sexual misconduct claims made against his friend and frequent collaborator James Franco.

On April 8, House actor Charlyne Yi took to her Instagram to make accusations against Franco, calling him out for “preying on underage girls”. Yi also said that Rogen has enabled Franco’s predatory behavior throughout the years.

Charlyne Yi Calls Out James Franco And Seth Rogen

Yi worked with Rogen and Franco on 2007 comedy Knocked Up and 2017 biopic The Disaster Artist.

In a post published on her Instagram on April 8, Yi explained she tried to quit The Disaster Artist, starring and directed by Franco. The reason was that the actress didn’t feel comfortable working with the Spider-Man actor, who has been accused of sexual misconduct as far back as 2014.

Yi claimed she was bribed to stay on with a "bigger acting role" which was "the exact opposite" of what she wanted. "I didn't feel safe working with a f***ing sexual predator," Yi wrote.

The actress also explained that Rogen, as a producer on the movie, must have been aware of the bribe at the time.

“Seth Rogen was one of the producers on this film so he definitely knows about the bribe and why I quit,” Yi wrote.

"Seth also did a sketch on SNL with Franco enabling Franco preying on children. Right after Franco was caught,” she continued.

“So to make myself feel better, I decided to prank James Franco. I posed as a girl on Instagram and I told him I was way young. He seemed unfazed,” Rogen said in his SNL monolog in 2014, before Franco himself crashed his appearance.

Twitter Wants Seth Rogen To Be A Better Ally

Yi’s revelations have reignited a conversation about Franco and the sexual allegations against him and Rogen’s role.

Twitter users have also been pointing out the issue hasn’t been widely covered.

“Why isn’t anyone talking about Charlyne Yi rightfully dragging Seth Rogen & James Franco??” One Twitter user wrote.

“Seth Rogen ‘joked’ about James Franco preying on underage girls in front of an entire studio audience and no one gave a single sh*t,” reads another comment, referencing Rogen’s 2014 SNL monologue that Yi also referred to in her Instagram stories.

“I'm really proud of Charlyne Yi and other women who have recently added their voices to the chorus against James Franco. I have read so many anecdotes now about his predatory abusive behavior. And I'm saddened by @Sethrogen for not being an ally and enabling his buddy's behavior,” was another comment.

Rogen hasn’t reacted to Yi’s claims yet. The Things have reached out to Rogen’s representatives for comment.
