September has been quite a month for Nicki Minaj, but things appear to be getting worse for the “Hard White” rapper after she was summoned to appear in court.

According to reports, Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty were served after allegedly having “harassed” the latter’s rape victim Jennifer Hough, who claims was threatened by the couple to retract her statement regarding her encounter with the rapper’s beau.

According to Hough, the harassment started back in 2018 before the pair’s associates allegedly got involved, prompting the woman to sue.

While it’s unclear how Petty and Minaj were served, the court document posted on Twitter revealed that the paperwork was handed to the couple on September 13.

The lawsuit comes just weeks after it was revealed that Petty is scheduled for another hearing in January 2022 after pleading guilty to failing to register as a sex offender after relocating with Minaj from New York to Los Angeles in 2020.

Fans have since reacted to the news on Twitter, stressing that they’re worried Minaj is attracting too much negative publicity following the Met Gala debacle.

The “Chun-Li” hitmaker left media outlets enraged after telling fans she opted not to attend the annual fashion event because guests were ordered to be vaccinated if they wanted to come — Minaj, however, said she wasn’t ready to take the jab yet.

Instead, she told fans she’d do further research on the vaccination and if she does take it, it certainly wouldn’t be for the sake of attending the Met Gala.

She then recalled how her cousin’s friend had experienced swollen testicles after being vaccinated, prompting a huge outcry with journalists and broadcasters around the world, claiming the mother of one was spreading fake news to her impressionable fans.

Minaj has firmly stood by her words and says she refuses to be bullied by the media all because people didn’t agree that she questioned fans why they weren’t doing their research on stuff they were putting into their bodies.

In fairness, she raised a very good question.
