Father Books Six Flights To Spend Christmas With His Flight Attendant Daughter

A father whose flight attendant daughter had to work over Christmas made sure that she wouldn't spend the holiday alone. He very sweetly booked and flew on all six of the flights she was assigned to work.

Hal Vaughn didn't want his daughter to be alone over Christmas so he decided to make sure that Pierce had some family nearby after all. He followed her on all of her holiday shifts on Christmas Eve and Christmas dutifully dealing with air travel and all of its headaches to be with his beloved daughter.

Hal just so happened to meet a fellow passenger on one of the flights from Fort Meyers, Florida to Detroit named Mike Levy. Levy happened to ask Hal where he was going and what he was doing on the flight. When he found out what Hal was doing for his daughter, Levy was blown away and asked if he could share their story on social media. He took a quick selfie with Hal and posted his story to Facebook.

ABC had this feel-good story that fits perfectly in this holiday atmosphere of giving and appreciating as we enter the New Year and end the Christmas season.

Hal was flying standby and using his family flying benefits to make his trip happen. He happened to make it on to every flight that Pierce was working and was even upgraded to first class. This is where he met Levy who shared this now viral story. Pierce didn't respond to media requests but did acknowledge how awesome her dad is on her personal Facebook page.

In typical sweet dad fashion, Hal hadn't thought he had done anything special. He wasn't even the one who publicly shared their story but it was one that needed to be told. How many family members have done this for a loved one before?

Look ma we made it Kimberly Hal Vaughan 🤗 Dad’s first trip using his benefits was a success! A special thanks to all of...

Isn't this the sweetest thing ever? This dad is going down in the record books as one of the best dads of all time. Pierce is a lucky daughter!
