There's no denying that Friends is still as iconic as ever, even if some things haven't aged well over the years. Part of the reason for its huge pop culture influence is because of the six characters fans love to love and sometimes love to hate.

Everyone who watches Friends has a character they can relate to. For a lot of fans, that character is Chandler Bing. When it comes to the men of Friends, Chandler is somewhere in the middle. He's sweet and charming but also awkward which always brings laughs. Chandler has certainly stolen the show on more than one occasion.

10 'The One With The Blackout' (Season 1, Episode 7)

Chandler Bing manages to be the break-out character early on with episode seven of the first season, "The One with the Blackout." It's also one of the best episodes of the first season.

In the episode, a blackout happens in New York City which traps Chandler in an ATM vestibule. Being trapped ends up being a good thing when Chandler realizes he's trapped with Victoria's Secret model Jill Goodacre. Chandler spends the rest of the episode trying to impress Jill before he ends up choking on someone else's piece of gum.

9 'The One Where Heckles Dies' (Season 2, Episode 3)

Death typically isn't funny but the Friends writers managed to make it funny in the season 2 episode, "The One Where Heckles Dies" thanks to Chandler.

After the death of Monica's upstairs neighbor Mr. Heckles, the girls learn that he's left all his possessions to them. The group of six heads upstairs to check everything out. As Chandler begins to sift through items, he starts to believe that he and Mr. Heckles are the same person which sends him into an existential crisis.

8 'The One Where Eddie Won't Go' (Season 2, Episode 19)

Part of Chandler's comedic charm came from his relationship with his roommate Joey. However, Chandler manages to bring the funny without Joey on occasion like in this season 2 episode.

When Joey goes through some tough times, Chandler suggests he moves back into their apartment. It's a great plan except for the fact that Chandler's new roommate Eddie refuses to move out. In the end, Chandler secretly changes the locks and pretends not to know Eddie when he shows up at the apartment.

One of the reoccurring themes in Friends was that the characters always end up in wild situations when it came to their dating lives. Despite being the awkward one of the bunch, Chandler was no stranger to this theme.

One of Chandler's most hilarious relationship moments happens in the third season when Chandler gets a little too drunk at Joey's birthday party and ends up sleeping with one of Joey's sisters. In order to keep Joey off his back, Chandler lies and says he's fallen for the sister. The only problem is Chandler can't remember which sister he hooked up with. The drama culminates with Chandler in the hallway with all of Joey's sisters where he ends up kissing the wrong one.

6 'The One With The Cuffs' (Season 4, Episode 3)

During season four Chandler finds himself in another awkward and uncomfortable situation after hooking up with Rachel's boss Joanna. It's also some of the best physical comedy of Matthew Perry's career as Chandler Bing.

Despite promising to break things off with her, Chandler continues to see Joanna behind Rachel's back. Of course, Rachel eventually finds out when she walks into Joanna's office to see Chandler half-dressed, handcuffed to Joanna's office chair. Chandler pleads for Rachel to let him go but Rachel refuses not wanting to get in trouble with her boss.

5 'The One On The Last Night' (Season 6, Episode 6)

'The One on the Last Night" was a big episode for Friends as Chandler prepared to move in with Monica while Rachel planned to move out. In fact, it's one of the best episodes of all time because it really shows their dynamics with each other.

While Rachel and Monica bring the heart, Chandler and Joey bring the funny. Chandler is worried about leaving Joey alone since he's still financially struggling so he creates a new game that will allow him to give Joey money without hurting his pride.

4 'The One With The Proposal' (Season 6, Episode 24)

Chandler Bing may be best known for his awkward and hilarious scenes but he's also a character who has a whole lot of love to give. Fans got to witness that softer side in "The One with the Proposal."

After a serious of failed proposal attempts Chandler is about to give up on asking Monica to marry him. But then he walks into the apartment to find Monica down on one knee for him. When she is unable to get through her speech, Chandler finally gets to ask Monica those four little words. The scene is not only one of the best Chandler and Monica moments but it's also one of the best television proposals of all time.

3 'The One With The Red Sweater' (Season 8, Episode 2)

There is no denying that "The One With The Red Sweater" is more centered on trying to find out who the father of Rachel's baby is, but the episode also has some of the best Chandler moments ever.

In order to cure Monica's post-wedding sadness, Chandler agrees to take the disposable cameras to the store to get them developed. However, when he can't find the cameras he and Ross decide to crash a wedding and take random pictures in order to not make Monica sadder than she already is. Of course, this ends with Chandler kissing another bride which Monica finds out about.

2 'The One Where Chandler Takes A Bath' (Season 8, Episode 13)

For someone who doesn't like baths, Chandler has had a lot of great moments while he's been in the bathtub, but the best came in the season 8 episode, "The One Where Chandler Takes A Bath."

After admitting to Monica that he only likes baths when she's involved, Monica forces Chandler to take a solo bath that she organizes for him. He loves it but when he tries to replicate it a few days later it's a complete disaster. In the end, he ends up stealing a bath Monica prepped for himself which ends with everyone gathered in the bathroom discussing the sex of Rachel and Ross's baby.

1 'The One With The Mugging' (Season 9, Episode 15)

Chandler spends most of the Friends working at a job he hates but that slowly starts to change in the ninth season.

After changing careers, Chandler lands an internship at an advertising company but quickly feels out of place when he realizes he's the oldest one there. However, his age ends up working out when he comes up with the perfect new show design. Now he's more determined than ever to get the job opportunity at the end of the internship.
