Friends is without a doubt one of the most iconic sitcoms of all time. So iconic, that Netflix's paid $100 million to keep the series on the streaming service for one more year. A deal that was probably worth it because it drew in subscribers and helped introduce a new generation to this iconic friend group.

Of all the characters on Friends, Rachel Green is without a doubt the princess of the group. She became a fan favorite and a style icon thanks in part to Jennifer Aniston and the costume department on the show. Rachel is more than just a stylish girl though, she's hilarious, sarcastic, and often finds herself in some pretty sticky situations.

There is no denying that Rachel Green is the star of "The Pilot" of Friends which aired all the way back in September 1994. After all, she certainly turned heads when she walked into Central Perk in her wedding gown fresh from running away from the altar. It's still one of the best character entrances on television.

Despite not talking for some time, Rachel is taken in by her former childhood best friend Monica. But finding a place to stay seems to be just the tip of Rachel's problems when she learns that her father has cut her off.

"The One Where No One's Ready" is arguably the best episode of season 3, and certainly an episode that is memorable for each of the six cast members.

Leading the charge appears to be Rachel who just can't seem to figure out what to wear. When Ross scolds her, Rachel doubles down changing into a pair of sweat pants and refusing to go to the event altogether.

Rachel is no stranger to wooing over the men she finds attractive but that doesn't stop her from feeling a bit out of her element in "The One With Rachel's New Dress." Perhaps, it's because the man she is trying to woo is also one of her clients as Bloomingdale's.

"The One With Joey's Big Break" might revolve mainly around Joey, hence the title, but it's Rachel that provides most of the laughs for this episode.

When Rachel wakes up complaining about a pain in her eye, Monica advises her to see an eye doctor. At first, Rachel refuses because she hates having things in or near her eye but she eventually gives in. The trip to the ophthalmologist is hilarious as Rachel continuously flinches away from the doctor. And things only escalate when it comes time for Rachel to put eye drops in her eye.

The only problem is the recipe for the trifle is stuck to another page and instead of creating a sweet dessert, Rachel ends up creating an interesting dish combining an English trifle with a shepherd's pie. Rachel is extremely proud of her creation and thus her friends must come up with ways to get rid of the "dessert" without hurting her feelings.

After Chandler moves in with Monica, Rachel moves in with Phoebe for a brief period of time. While Rachel and Phoebe might be great friends, it becomes clear early on that they are not good roommates.

One of their earliest arguments stems from Rachel trying to redecorate Phoebe's apartment to suit her taste. Rachel purchases an apothecary table from Pottery Barn which she quickly learns was a mistake when Monica informs her that Phoebe hates anything that is mass-produced. In order to keep the table, Rachel lies to Phoebe and creates an elaborate story about where the table came from.

Luckily, they are given the chance to redeem themselves when a second cheesecake is delivered a few days later. Turning thirty is a bittersweet milestone that the season seven episode "The One Where They All Turn Thirty" absolutely nails. While the episode shows audiences how each of the six friends spent their thirtieth birthdays, it's Rachel's experience that steals the episode.

In the episode, Rachel is anything but happy about turning thirty and tries to spend most of the day hiding in her room. Eventually, the friends coax her out of the room and shower her with love. However, the party takes a turn when her much younger boyfriend expresses his own stress about aging. The iconic moment of this episode happens later when Rachel outlines her entire life plan to get married and have 3 babies by the time she's 35 only to realize that in order for that to happen she needed to have already met "the one."

"The One Where Rachel Has A Baby" is the first birth episode the series had done but it's certainly the one that has become the most iconic. After finally going into labor, Ross rushes Rachel to the hospital where things immediately start to go downhill.

Not only is Rachel dealing with a long and painful labor, but she has to share her room with a constant parade of women who all seem to be handling labor better than her. Then, in the second part, Rachel finally has the baby but doesn't know what to name her. On top of that, Rachel gets accidentally proposed to be Joey instead of Ross which only further complicates her life.
