Jennifer Aniston's Rachel Green is the most fashionable character from television in recent history. Her casual-glam look was carefully curated to suit her storyline. Rachel's sense of style evolved as she journeyed from a jobless twenty-something to a terrible waitress and finally an established fashion executive.

Whether she was working at Central Perk or in the offices of Bloomingdale's and Ralph Lauren, Rachel always served as a style inspiration. She was as graceful in her mini skirts as in the high-end ensembles. Because '90s fashion is around, there are quite a lot of inspirational outfits in Rachel's wardrobe. Ten of these are the most drool-worthy.

10 Off-shoulder Wedding Dress

Rachel Green made her Friends debut in a wet, off-shoulder wedding dress. Quite literally, she buzzed through the door as a bride the moment Ross Geller said he wanted to be married again.

Friends costume designer Debra McGuire went into the details of Rachel's wedding dress saying, "That wedding dress came from Warner Bros. stock from the costume department. I was in the costume house, [where] there were millions of dresses, and I remember going through and pulling that one out and it looked perfect."

9 Geometric Top

Rachel paired a vintage black skirt with a geometric black-and-white top in "The One Where Old Yeller Dies." Her look suggested she'd thrown a couple of things on to create an effortless ensemble.

While Rachel freaked over moving to Scarsdale in some imaginary future with Ross, she looked incredible in her neatly tucked-in top, skirt, and tights combination.

8 Mint Green Dress

Rachel took an entire episode to get dressed in "The One Where No One's Ready." The funny thing is, she still had about five seconds to spare after she figured out what she was going to wear. She demonstrated her impeccable style as she walked out of the room in the cocktail gown.

Rachel was dressed in the mint green outfit for Ross's benefit. The long gown hugged her curves in the right places. She kept the look simple with sleek hair and a watch for an accessory.

7 Black Pant Suit

Rachel's style evolved as her storyline progressed. Once she was established as a fashion executive, her style shifted between casual and sophisticated. She wore smart statement pieces like this neatly tailored suit on her job interview with Mr. Campbell from Gucci.

As someone who worked in fashion, Rachel knew how to be dressed for an informal job interview. She wore a black pantsuit with a barely buttoned white shirt underneath the jacket. Rachel accessorized the ideal black and white combination with a red clutch and silver earrings.

6 Desk-To-Date 70s Dress

Rachel rocked the black and white retro dress in "The One With Rachel's Big Kiss." She bumped into a college mate, Melissa Warburton at Central Perk and later went to dinner with her. For the dinner night, Rachel didn't change her workwear, she went in the same 70s-collar vintage dress that she wore to work.

The buttoned dress with a front belt fitted her well. She looked incredible as she paired the dress with a black overcoat for the night time.

5 Mom Jeans And Copped T-shirt

Rachel's girl baseball outfit was beautifully accessorized to give her a sassy vibe. A classic 90s look, Rachel paired baggy blue jeans with white tennis shoes. It was the beginning of Friends, and Rachel had ditched her usual mini skirts for a black, heart printed, cropped t-shirt. She finished the look with a baseball cap that sat atop her 'The Rachel' haircut.

The iconic hairstyle, better known as 'The Rachel' was the creation of hairstylist Chris McMillan. It was more of a short-layered, highlighted look, well suited to Jennifer Aniston's heart-shaped face.

4 Low-denier, Pleated Mini Skirt

Rachel's wardrobe consisted of different types of tights, often paired with miniskirts and boots. Guess she knew tights were a closet basic and that she'd need them all the time.

When Rachel went to work in a skirt, she made sure her attire look formal, or semi-formal, at least. In this case, she wore a grey pleated miniskirt with low-denier tights and knee-high stiletto boots. Her top, a well-fitted black high neck was just the thing she needed to complete the chic look.

3 Embroidered Strapless Dress

"I am a woman who spent a lot of money on a dress and she wants to wear it because soon she won't be able to fit into it," remarked Rachel when asked why she didn't dress up for the Halloween party. And boy, wasn't she right!

Rachel wore the most stylish outfits and accessories during her pregnancy, right from the beginning to the end. Like for example, this embroidered, strapless black dress, golden choker, and sleek blowout look made her look divine!

2 Layered Blouse

Rachel also wore a number of sheer blouses on Friends. The most famous of all was the one she wore when Will Colbert (Brad Pitt) was around on a Thanksgiving.

Not many people can wear a see-through blouse and make it look classy. But when it's Rachel Green, anything is possible. Because Rachel was dressing up in that oh-so-fragile, layered blouse, she paired it with black pants to balance the look. She wore her short blonde hair in beachy waves and finished the look with a touch of bronzer to get that healthy pregnancy glow.

1 Athleisure-style Pants

When it came to winning over the love of her life, Rachel Green chose to wear athleisure-style pants and fly to London to break Ross's marriage. The idea behind the ensemble was that she was rushing off, so she didn't have a lot of time to think about what to wear.

Rachel threw on some casual pants, a brown sleeveless top, thereby giving fans a massive airport fashion inspiration. It's safe to say Rachel Green paved the way for the athleisure trend back in the 90s.
