As we draw closer to the release to Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League, the storm around the troubled production of the movie under director Joss Whedon doesn’t seem to be calming down.

After Ray Fisher, the Cyborg actor in the movie, stunned Hollywood by getting candid about how the director’s behavior on set was 'gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable,' the controversy only seems to have gotten murkier.

While at first Fisher was the lone speaker giving voice to these allegations, he soon found support in the form of co-star Jason Momoa.

When Fisher claimed that Warner Bros. was trying to malign his name by calling him 'uncooperative' in the investigation, it was Momoa who backed the actor, when he posted a picture with the hashtag #IStandWithRayFisher on Instagram.

Now, Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot has backed Fisher too. Gadot, who is on promotional tour for her upcoming movie, Wonder Woman 1984, recently opened up about this controversy in an interview, though she didn’t give out any details. "I’m happy for Ray to go out and speak his truth," Gadot said.

"I wasn’t there with the guys when they shot with Joss Whedon — I had my own experience with [him], which wasn’t the best one, but I took care of it there and when it happened. I took it to the higher-ups and they took care of it. But I’m happy for Ray to go up and say his truth."

She declined to elaborate any further on this matter.

Fisher also added to his allegations the names of Jon Berg, the then Co-President of Warner Bros. Productions, and Geoff Johns, the then-President of DC Entertainment. According to Fisher, Berg and Johns enabled Whedon’s behavior on set, and grossly abused their powers.

The most definitive development in this case came on December 11, when Warner Bros. released a statement saying, "WarnerMedia's investigation into the Justice League movie has concluded, and remedial action has been taken."

While Fisher welcomed this decision, he also added that hopes that in the aftermath of the investigation, more steps will be taken, and new resolutions will be reached before this is laid to rest. He also thanked all those who supported him in his fight, finishing with his signature ‘A>E’ (Accountability > Entertainment) sentence, reminding everyone that safe working conditions for actors and crew should take precedence over the end product.
