Teased by a group chat video including A-listers posted on January 11, the streaming giant has finally revealed what was cooking in a video released today (January 12).

Netflix Has 71 Movies In Store For Subscribers

Netflix will be releasing unseen movies every week throughout 2021. The streamer unveiled some of the titles included in its biggest movie catalog to date in a star-studded edit.

“2021 = a new movie EVERY WEEK on Netflix. Here's a sneak peek at 27 of the biggest, brightest, fastest, funniest, feel-good, feel-everything films and stars coming to Netflix this year,” @NetflixFilm tweeted.

Stars of upcoming heist movie Red Notice, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, and Dwayne Johnson introduced some films coming to the streamer this year. The video also saw Watchmen star Regina King as well as Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The catalog will predominantly consist of original productions, but it’ll include some acquisitions for a total of 71 titles across different genres.

Alongside Red Notice, other highlights of Netflix’s program are Zach Snyder’s Army of the Dead and Amy Adams’ The Woman in the Window.

Moreover, the Western The Harder They Fall with King, Idris Elba and Lovecraft County star Jonathan Majors. As for comedies, the program sees Amy Poehler’s sophomore feature Moxie, and Jennifer Garner’s family film YES DAY.

But one of the most hotly anticipated release is Don’t Look Up boasting a stellar cast: Jeniffer Garner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet, Kid Cudi, and Meryl Streep.

The slate will also see the final chapters of two of Netflix’s most popular romcom franchises, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: Always and Forever and The Kissing Booth 3.
