"She refuses to touch what she called someone else's shower water. She also refused to use toilet paper that anyone has touched and demands an unopened package."

Along with these demands, Paltrow also makes sure to "send someone to the gas station to buy a couple bottles of SmartWater for her", even though the gym supplies water.

Gwyneth Paltrow's Cookbooks Might Not Have The Best Advice

Some celebrities have also become entrepreneurs, and own their own businesses. Along with founding GOOP, Gwyneth Paltrow has also written five cookbooks.

Even though the Contagion actress lives a mostly healthy lifestyle, it seems her cookbooks don't offer the healthiest advice.

According to The Sun, Professor Ben Chapman, a food safety expert who did a study that included celebrity cookbooks, discussed the dangers of at least one of her recipes in her 2011 cookbook, My Father's Daughter. Talking about her Roast-Chicken Rotisserie Style recipe, he said, "it doesn't have a safe endpoint temperature, which should be 165F or 74C to ensure you destroy disease causing bacteria."

She also recommends washing chicken, which can spread bacteria around an area. The UK Food Standards Agency also said this was a bad practice that could spread certain types of bacteria, such as campylobacter. They stated, “Thorough cooking kills it. Campylobacter can be spread easily and just a few bacteria could cause illness.”

It seems other celebrities are guilty of this as well. In an interview with Gizmodo, Professor Ben Chapman discussed the trend of celebrities not including safe recipes in their cookbooks. "Gwyneth was just one of many actors. At home there is an assumption by the consumer that when a recipe says to cook something at 325 for 2 hours, that's a safe thing to do.

He continued, stating, "That's not science-based. If you were in a restaurant, it would be required to cook food to a certain temperature or warn consumers with a message about undercooked meat."
