In a recent interview with V Magazine, Baldwin explained how her ballet training has had an effect on her modeling. She explained, "I think watching ballet has totally shaped how I see and feel movement". Around the same time, she told Harper's Bazaar that her ballet training played a big part in making her the person she is today, even though she no longer dances. "It plays a big part in my body type and in my athleticism," she said. "It’s kept my body healthy, and mentally it taught me how to be committed to something."

Hailey Bieber's Dance Background

In 2016, Hailey posted a video on her Instagram account of her dancing, which allowed fans to get a glimpse at how talented she was. She said in the caption that she missed dancing.

Hailey Bieber was a ballet dancer and according to Insider, she went to the American Ballet School in the summer, and she was also a dancer for the Miami City Ballet.

According to ET Canada, Hailey wanted to be a ballet dancer and that was her ambition in life. However, she hurt her foot, and that injury forced her to quit ballet and find another career path.

In addition to the injury that ended her dance career, Hailey has also broken her foot twice in recent years. According to The Daily Mail, she also broke her foot after the 2015 Met Gala, and according to her own social media, she broke her foot again a year later.

Hailey shared with her fans on social media, "Ya girl broke her foot in the same place on the exact same day a year later......WHAT IS IT WITH ME AND METBALL? Lol."

Hailey's Healthy Routine

Hailey explained how her background with dance has informed her lifestyle today, saying: "Growing up dancing ballet helped me be more aware of how important it is to take care of your body—and I mean everything in terms of stretching, going to the gym and getting stronger. I regularly visit a physical therapist and get massages to take care of my muscles. It’s the glue that holds us together. My husband is very conscious of it, too, because he is a performer, which requires him to dance, jump around, and exert lots of energy, which is hard on his body."

Hailey continued, "We connect a lot when it comes to our health and wellness routines. He helps me take care of my body and vice versa—we've shared the same chiropractor and wellness experts for years."

It sounds like Hailey Bieber's past love of dance has definitely led to her continuing to live an active lifestyle. According to E! News, she said that she made sure to keep exercising during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hailey Bieber's Exercise Regimen

Girlfriend.com.au also reports that Hailey loves hot yoga and hot Pilates, and she also does some strength training.

Hailey talked about why she enjoys Pilates workouts so much: "I used to be a dancer, so I love Pilates because it really elongates and strengthens my muscles. That's probably my favorite workout. I also recently started to box for some cardio. I found that remembering the combinations and learning how move your body in boxing has been good for mental health."
