Hailey Bieber just launched her new skincare line Rhodes, but she’s already facing legal trouble – a lawsuit accusing her brand of copying its name. The model debuted the new skincare collection earlier this month, and it’s been blowing up online. Both Hailey and her husband Justin Bieber have been promoting the line on social media.

"What sets Rhode apart is we're putting out a very curated, edited line of essentials — our philosophy is making one of everything really good," Hailey told PEOPLE about the line. “These formulas are very intentional and very specific so that they can become those curated essentials that you keep going back to."

So far, the skincare collection features three productions – a Peptide Glazing Fluid, a Barrier Restore Cream, and a Peptide Lip Treatment. All products are under $30, and can be purchased through the official Rhode website.

Though Hailey’s new skincare line may be the talk of the town, it’s not all for good reasons. Despite having a successful debut so far, the model’s brand has already been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit was filed by Purna Khatau and Phoebe Vickers, the owners of Rhode, a New York-based fashion line. The designers claim that Hailey previously tried to acquire the Rhode trademark, though they refused to give it up. Despite failing to trademark the name, Hailey went ahead and gave her skincare line the same title as the fashion collection.

Even more, the business owners claim that the logo for Hailey’s business shares a number of striking similarities to their own.

According to its website, Rhode was founded in 2014 after two college roommates (Purna and Phoebe) were frustrated with feeling like they have nothing inspiring to wear. Hence was born the line of timeless pieces aimed at clothing women through all stages of life.

Purna and Phoebe claim their business’s reputation has already begun to suffer since Hailey launched her skincare line earlier this month. Shoppers have started tagging their company instead of Hailey’s by mistake, proving confusion amongst customers.

The fashion designers are requesting that a judge rule Hailey must change the name of her brand. So far, Hailey has not commented on the lawsuit.
