Halle Berry is making headlines for a new term she has just created, and her 6.8 million Instagram followers are loving it. There's just one problem with what she's created... it's oddly similar to a term that's been created and used by Paris Hilton, leading fans to question how Berry came up with this interesting verbiage.

All eyes were on Berry when she professed her love for her current boyfriend, Van Hunt, after being slammed by a fan that accused her of not being able to hold her relationships together. It seems Berry is making a strong comeback in the world of social media, and as her posts start to pick up increased traction, she coined the term 'slazy.'

Halle's Term Turns Heads

Halle Berry nearly broke the internet when she announced that her first kiss ever was with another woman. Just prior to that revelation, and she may be doing it again with the reveal of the new term she seems to have casually created.

She took to Instagram to post a gorgeous photo of herself laying on a beach, looking like she's in a pure state of blissful relaxation. She instantly garnered fan attention on a global scale with this stunning image, but it was more than just the image that took fans by storm. It was also her caption.

She captioned her photo with the words; "feelin’ SLAZY...lazy but still slayin’ 😂" and fans instantly responded with reactions to her newly coined phrase.

Among the first to respond were Jeanette Jenkins and Mario Lopez. Jeanette wrote; "I’m so stealing that 😂😂😂 slazy 💥💥💥💥," and Mario Lopez weighed in to the conversation by saying; "That’s the best expression ever. Gonna have to steal that... :)"

Slazy Vs. Sliving

Does Halle Berry really have a unique idea here? By combining the words "Lazy" and "Slaying," she has essentially done what Paris Hilton did way before she did. Hilton merged the words 'slaying' and 'living' to create her very own terminology, and she has used the word 'sliving' for a very long time now.

Making "sliving" famous, Paris Hilton seems to lay claims on the creation of this term, and it slightly cheapens Halle Berry's attempt at copying the same style and pattern in an effort to cultivate her own word using the same philosophy.

During an interview during the early days of 2020, Paris Hilton declared that 'Sliving' was the new 'That's Hot,' clearly claiming this as being her own.

Time will tell if this will spark a feud between Hilton and Berry, and which of these ladies will see the biggest response from their custom-created terms.
