Halsey might be an introvert, but that's not stopping the Without Me singer from being vulnerable and opening up to her fans. Halsey revealed earlier this year that she was working on her first ever poetry collection titled I Would Leave Me If I Could.

The singer-songwriter put her heart and soul into it, and is incredibly nervous to see how her fans will receive it.

The Simon & Schuster published book was previously available for pre-order, but will be available to the rest of the world soon, and the anticipation is making Halsey very nervous.

Halsey Is Excited, But Nervous

Halsey is one of the most compelling voices today and her talent knows no bounds. She's a singer-songwriter, a painter, a make-up artist and with her upcoming book, she's proven she can be a writer too!

She shared with her fans earlier today that she is "nervous to the point of vomiting", about her book coming out so soon. Halsey thanked her fans who supported her by pre-ordering it and had guarded its contents, before it became available for everyone.

"The excitement and fear are wonderful and unbearable," she wrote in a tweet.

The book is said to be deeply personal to her, and as Halsey has previously stated, will cause some of her readers discomfort. Her poems are expected to reflect the artistry brought by her music, and fans can't wait to see the artists' upcoming endeavor.

The singer even gave her Twitter followers an early present, and revealed that the title of one of the poems is The Baker.

Her Book Is Filled With Uncomfortable Reveals

While the title of Halsey's book doesn't necessarily have a negative connotation, anyone can guess how personal it is to her, as the title itself suggests.

Her autobiographical poems "delve into the highs and lows of doomed relationships, family ties, sexuality, and mental illness," and are expected to be hard-hitting, and for some, even disconcerting.

A few weeks ago, Halsey has informed her fans that the book's content might not be comfortable for some readers, because of how true she has been to herself.

"It's mostly full of lust, longing and self reflection but there are moments that approach subjects that might be hard for some readers." she wrote in the tweet.

Her fans replied saying that they were excited, and hoped Halsey would add "trigger-warnings at the beginning" of each poem.

Halsey's poetry collection I Would Leave Me If I Could will be available across the globe on November 10th.
