Who else can rock as many hair colors and hairstyles as Halsey? Not too many people are able to do what she does. Whether she is performing on stage at a concert for her adoring fans, taking a selfie for social media, or getting caught by the flashes of the paparazzi while trying to grab a coffee, Halsey’s hair is constantly subject to change.

10 Brunette
Brunette hair is one of the most common and normal hair colors that an individual can take on. Halsey rocks some of the craziest and eccentric hair colors ever-- so seeing her with normal brown hair is actually pretty rare. She looks exceptionally great with classic brown hair and for this particular performance, she was wearing her hair in a 50s Marilyn Monroe hairstyle. It suited her! The white suit that she was wearing added to how classy her overall look was that night.
9 Natural Afro
What a lot of people might not know about Halsey by just looking at her is the fact that she has a mixed bloodline! She is a biracial beauty with her father being African-American. Due to that fact, she has naturally curly hair! A few times here and there she has shown off her natural curls and in this picture, she showed off her natural Afro. Her curls are very smooth and loose but they ARE still curls nevertheless. She looks great with an Afro. Plenty of people wish they had curls like these.
8 Rainbow Roots
At the 2019 MTV VMAs, Halsey walked the red carpet with rainbow dyed roots in her hair. The rest of her hair was dark black but her roots are what stood out the most while she walked down that red carpet. She parted her hair down the middle causing all of the attention to be directly focused on the beautiful rainbow dye job on top of the center of her head. She for sure included every single color of the rainbow: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
7 Purple Hair
Halsey rocked purple hair at one point in time and she was definitely pulling it off. In this super simple selfie she wasn’t dressed up to the nines walking a red carpet or wearing a full face of makeup either. Who remembers when Rihanna wear her hair in this bright red shade? She totally pulled it off and so does Halsey. Bright red hair makes a bold statement. It reminds people of fire and passion. Halsey is definitely a fiery young woman filled with passion. Her music is so raw and emotional. That is definitely why she has such a devoted fan base who are totally obsessed with her. When she decided to go red, it was a great look for her.
5 Braided Hair
Halsey wore her hair braided up and posted some really cute pictures to social media. She got attacked for cultural appropriation but at the end of the day, she is a biracial young woman who is allowed to claim both sides of her race.
The fact that people took the time to accuse her of cultural appropriation without even looking into her background (to see that her father is a black man) is pretty much insane. She rocked the braids in a major way!
4 Long Blonde Hair
Halsey has gone blonde a few times and most memorably she’s gone blonde with a shorter cut. In this particular photoshoot though, she is rocking long blonde hair and looking absolutely stunning. Long blonde hair instantly reminds people of the classic Barbie doll look but something about Halsey doesn’t fit into that cookie-cutter mold. There is something so different and vibrant about her that even when she has the same type of hair that is so common in Hollywood, she still stands out.
3 Blue Hair + Green Roots
When Halsey posed for pictures with bright blue hair with light green/yellow roots it was a game changer. She must have known how good she looked because this was definitely one of her top notch hair color choices.
It is so interesting that no matter how bright or eccentric she chooses to go with her hair color choices, she still looks extremely elegant and trendy.
2 Pink Hair
Halsey looked like a total princess with her hot pink hair. Pink is such a girly and feminine color and it works so well with Halsey in a lot of ways. She has also rocked light pink hair in the past but her hot pink hair is definitely winning when it comes to shades of pink. Other celebrities who have gone with hair pink in the past include Hailey Baldwin and Dua Lipa. Let’s not also forget about all the times Kylie Jenner has gone with pink hair too!
1 Long Dark Hair
One of Halsey‘s best hair looks of all time would have to be her long dark hair because she looks so classic and stunning. Everything about Halsey with long dark hair just makes sense! She is such a showstopper with those gorgeous tresses falling over her shoulders, perfectly framing her face. She recently chopped off all of her hair and got a lot of support from other celebrities when she did so which proves that she doesn’t actually need the long hair to be flawlessly gorgeous. (The long hair still looks superb though.)
