Harry Jowsey's new life in Los Angeles is a fresh start, but not without unresolved issues from the past. Specifically, from his time on Too Hot To Handle. While he called the show "perfect," and appreciates the opportunity, some rumors and misconceptions still linger.

He spoke with TheThings about behind-the-scenes details on the show that viewers didn't get to see and where he stands with ex Francesca Farago today.

No Regrets On His End

Everyone rooted for Jowsey and Farago to make it past their Ring Pop proposal, and he was well-aware of that public pressure. However, he's grateful to experience that kind of love.

Would you say there's anything you'd do differently if you were to go back to day 1 on Too Hot To Handle? Or do you have any regrets?

"Honestly, no. I see everything as a learning experience. That was the first person I've ever fallen in love with. That was the first 'love at first sight' situation. I have never, in my entire life, been that infatuated with somebody the day that I met them. It was crazy."

Crazy but understood. That first love that gives a new definition to the word makes the breakup more gut-wrenching than one could imagine. Jowsey, however, focused on the positive memories their relationship gave him.

"Do I regret a lot of stuff after the show," he rhetorically asked and then reflected on how everything went down over social media, "Yes, absolutely. I regret how we went at each other, how we're going at each other online."

Farago and Jowsey have been dissing their past relationship, going on podcasts and somewhat talking at each other without the actual one-on-one conversation. He's not a huge fan of the spectacle.

"I'm seeing someone now, I'm in a good place, then she just randomly decided to drop a YouTube video. Trying to attack me again."

Behind-The-Scenes Details

Jowsey shared that he still cares about his ex's well-being and claims he's attempted to contact her through his friends, "I've had my friends try to reach out and make sure you're okay. I tried to text you, I blocked your...I wanted to talk to you. I don't know it's just a very weird situation."

He admitted that he'll always have a soft spot for Farago, that he'll even always think about her and care about her, "I want her to be happy and in a good place. That was the first person I've ever loved. I thought this was going to be the mother of my kids."

Was there another girl from the show you would have been interested in? Since all fans really got to see were the interactions that the producers edited for the show, we’re wondering if there were any other connections formed that we might not have seen?

He laughed and readjusted his sweatshirt nervously, "There was. Me and Lydia, I love Lydia. She's amazing, she's rare, she's golden. I think if we lived in the same country, if we were even in the same city, or had an opportunity. If she came from the start, it would have been a completely different show."

He couldn't stop the flow of compliments for Lydia Clyma, "Her energy is just unmatched. She's always just radiant. We talk all the time and she's amazing. We spent some time together after the show. She's probably the only one that would've stopped me and Francesca."

Wait, what? Is there more than meets the eye on both parts of the Francesca/Harry breakup? He beamed as he spoke about costar-turned-friend Lydia, but the universe seemed to have other plans for his love life.

Cut The Cameras

If the chemistry between Lydia and Harry was significantly cut from the show, what else did we miss out on? Harry thankfully filled us in while still acknowledging his respect and approval of the series' final product.

Were there any other moments that weren't caught on camera that you wish viewers would've seen?

"The start of the show where there was that kissing situation, the only reason why I did that to Francesca was a direct emotional, knee-jerk reaction to something she did. That didn't end up getting aired. It was an emotional decision, it wasn't something I'm proud of."

"I think, regardless, it being at the start and being able to watch the growth and watch me turn into more of a man, not a little boy. I think the show was perfect."

"For my own sanity and for the fans' sake, I would want a few of the scenes that happened that Francesca may not look in the best light to come out. There's a reason why I did half the stuff that I did. Then again, I can't change the past and I'm happy with how everything went."

Beyond the show, Jowsey is now navigating the dating world without an Alexa-esque machine telling him he can't kiss anyone. He gave us an inside look at how he stands out in the DM's.

Have you tried online dating during the pandemic? If so, what would you say is your go-to pickup line?

"I was on a dating app for a little, I realized it's just so much effort and energy. It just sucks, it's the same old conversations. I always try and spice it up because people get bored on those apps really easily."

He'll ask whoever he meets through those apps about their lives, possibly go in with a question about one of the photos they included on their profile. However, he prefers messaging people on Instagram.

"I'm a mega DM-slider. I'm sliding into everyone's DM's when I'm single...I will literally just say 'Hi' with a little heart or something. If they don't reply after a day or two I'll unsend it."

What’s next for Harry’s love life? Although you’re still young, do you see yourself ever getting married?

"If it was the right person and the right time, I would be more than happy to get married and have kids right away. I feel like I just have so much more living to do before I meet that person. The Universe has a plan, if she appears in my life she will. If Francesca come back into my life she will. I just have to stay on my path."
