On Tuesday, Tom Felton and his Harry Potter co-star set aside their Slytherin-Gryffindor rivalry to reunite for a game of golf. Felton, who played the pure-blood wizard Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films was joined by James Phelps, aka Fred, one of the Weasley twins.

In the film adaptation, Tom and James were pretty much enemies since the Malfoy family looked down upon the Weasleys, for associating with muggles and supporting Dumbledore. We didn't get to see their characters hang out in their common rooms or drink butter beers in Hogsmeade, but it seems they reunite for a game of golf from time to time!

Fans are pretty thrilled about it.

5 Points To House Gryffindor!

Judging from Tom Felton's caption, which says "Even a lifelong Slytherin, will (occasionally) let a Weasley win..." we're presuming James Phelps was leading the winner scoreboard!

The actor shared two photos of the co-stars at the Berkshire Golf Club, golf clubs in hand and smiles on their faces! James shared the photos to his Instagram account as well, writing "Different course- Same result."

The franchise's fans are pleased to see the actors hanging out after all these years. They flooded the comments with Harry Potter references and thanked Felton for delivering on the "quality Harry Potter" content as always.

"It’s nice how ur still friends after all these years!" wrote a fan, while another said "Just shows that not all Slytherins go bad!"

One fan joked about how "Golf is like quidditch", which is why "Gryffindors are better at it."

Another user said, "i’m gonna tell your father about this!" quoting Draco Malfoy's iconic catch-phrase, which he used whenever something went horribly wrong.

Harry Potter fans were curious about why James' twin brother Oliver (who played George Weasley) wasn't in attendance. Turns out, he's busy with his duties as a new dad!

The post has helped lighten up the mood of Harry Potter fans who have been mourning the passing of Helen McCrory, the actor who played Narcissa Malfoy (Draco's mother) in the movies.

To honor her memory, Tom Felton shared a heartbreakingly sweet tribute to his Instagram.
