Since taking the world by storm as a member of One Direction, Harry Styles has become one of the biggest celebrities on the planet. Once he broke away from the group when they went on a hiatus, Harry decided to launch his own solo career, and it was by far one of the best decisions he could ever make. Harry Styles is now a superstar on his own.

By breaking away from the band, he also broke out of his shell. He's become his own person and has even broken into the fashion world. Since the beginning of his solo career, Harry has taken on bolder fashion choices, and since then, he's been known to wear some pretty fabulous and outrageous outfits. We love that Harry is expressing himself and we honestly love to see what he wears next.

10 "Kiwi" Music Video

When Harry Styles was recording his music video for his song "Kiwi" on his debut solo album, he made sure to pick a pretty awesome outfit to go along with it. Harry, along with his mini-me for the music video, are wearing making baby blue suits. The designer suits are covered head to toe in florals. Harry's suit also has a flared pant making him stand apart from his mini-me. To further stand out, Harry is also wearing a white shirt underneath his suit jacket with an extravagant oversized bow.

9 The Late Late Show 2017

It seems as if fancy suits are Harry Styles' outfit of choice as he's been known to wear a number of different oddly patterned suits. When he appeared on The Late Late Show back in 2017, he turned heads with this outfit. Opting for his signature suit, Harry wore this gorgeous silk royal purple suit with a pattern of trees and flowers, and other scenery.

The pants flared out — a change from his One Direction days when he wore nothing but skinny jeans. The way the suit fits him and is tailored just for him is perfect and definitely impacts how the suit looks. No matter how crazy the pattern may be, we know that Harry will definitely be able to pull it off.

8 iHeartRadio Music Festival 2017

Harry Styles took his love for over the top suits even further when it came to the iHeartRadio Music Festival back in 2017. He went for a bold pattern — red and black diamonds from head to toe. The pattern gave him a circus ringmaster feel or even the look of a court jester. The white shirt breaks the pattern off, and of course, stands out with the matching oversized bow. There are not many people in this world that could pull off a suit like this, however, Harry really doe make it work.

7 Another Man Magazine

If it wasn't clear before, Harry Styles definitely has a thing for suits that are out of this world. When Harry first broke out as a solo artist away from One Direction, he did a big photoshoot with the magazine Another Man. In the magazine, Harry is pictured wearing a number of different over the top outfits.

He even cut his long hair from his One Direction days, and there were plenty of pictures to prove it. For this outfit, Harry wears yet another pants suit with a crazy repeating floral pattern. He tied the look together with a pair of beat-up Converse and a collar. Harry opted to rock the suit without a shirt, giving him an edgy look.

6 2017 ARIA Awards

Going for an even bolder look when it comes to his suits, Harry Styles wore this metallic suit to the 2017 ARIA Awards. There's so much going on with this particular suit, however, Harry really makes it work. The metallic purple material has a paisley pattern with other hues of purple. Instead of going with a signature shirt with an oversized bowtie, Harry opted for a more traditional shirt, leaving a few buttons unbuttoned. He tied the look all together with metallic bronze square-toed boots, and his fingernails painted black.

5 Rolling Stone

Breaking away from his usual pants suit, Harry Styles opted for a slightly different option for his photoshoot for Rolling Stone. For this particular outfit, Harry wore a powder blue suit, but instead of wearing matching pants, he opted for short shorts instead. He wore a cropped shirt underneath the blazer, going along with the cropped shorts. Harry also decided to go in a different direction, wearing an over the top hat — a beautiful blue cap with peacock feathers coming out from the top. Instead of his signature boots, Harry went barefoot instead.

4 2020 BRIT Awards

Harry Styles somehow was able to make a pants suit even more over the top when he performed at the 2020 BRIT Awards. This time, instead of going for a bold color, Harry went for gorgeous white lace. His pants were wide-legged as well as high waisted and held up with white suspenders. Harry also wore a matching white lace long sleeve shirt. Tying the whole look together, Harry also wore a pair of white lace gloves, giving him an elevated and elegant look while performing.

3 Saturday Night Live

When Harry Styles hosted Saturday Night Live, he definitely got creative with his wardrobe. When the promotional photos were released of Harry when he was going to be on SNL, fans went wild when they saw him in a full ballerina ensemble. We know by now that Harry isn’t afraid to push the envelope when it comes to fashion and we absolutely love that he commuted to the entire ballerina outfit from the tutu down to the tights. We’re not entirely sure why he was in a ballerina outfit, but we love how fabulous he looks regardless.

2 2019 Met Gala

When it came to the 2019 Met Gala, Harry Styles turned heads when it came to his outfit. He walked the carpet wearing a pair of black wide-legged pants that were so high waisted that they went all of the way up to his chest. Harry also wore a gorgeous sheer top with nothing underneath, allowing us to see all of his tattoos littered over his body. The shirt also has an ornate tie, and is so simple, yet also so elegant. Tying the look together, Harry wore a pair of heeled black boots along with his many rings and painted fingernails. One thing is for sure, Harry knows how to turn heads at events.

1 Vogue

Harry Styles had a lot of people talking when he wore a dress on the cover of the December 2020 issue of Vogue. Once again he pushed the envelope when it came to fashion, as well as questioned gender norms and stereotypes. He wore a grey-ish blue gown with a ruffled skirt, all of the edges lined in black lace. On top of the gown, Harry wore a black blazer, combining elements of clothing that is usually gendered, together. The magazine got a lot of people talking, but it only proved that Harry doesn’t care what people think, and will continue to wear whatever he wants to wear.
