Has Iggy Azalea Given Up On Music?

Iggy Azalea is no stranger to the spotlight! The star first debuted back in 2011, however, she managed to get her big break after the success of her hit song, Fancy was released in 2014.

The music video, which came out only days after the initial single release, was inspired by the '90s cult classic film, Clueless, where Iggy played the role of Cher.

Since then, Iggy has been regarded as a top tier female rap artist, which was quite the feat considering her competition at the time as none other than Nicki Minaj.

While Cardi B, Megan The Stallion, and Doja Cat are currently dominating the rap scene, it was all about Iggy Azalea at one point, however, fans have noticed the rapper's career has declined significantly in the last couple of years, so much that they think Iggy has left music for good.

This all came about when it was revealed that Iggy did not write all of her own material, which led to a plethora of backlash. In 2018, Iggy was then dropped by her record label, only making matters worse, leaving Azalea to step away from the public eye for quite some time.

As the star has acclimated to motherhood, it appears as if she is ready to step back into the spotlight, however, fans of hers are now wondering if she will be leaving behind music for a career on...Youtube!

After being asked about the rumors swirling around regarding Iggy's move over to the streaming platform, she responded by saying, "I don't wanna "become a YouTuber" just think it could be fun to post videos from time to time that is now music related. Def gonna do it! But probably in 2021 since this year is cursed."

While it doesn't seem as if Iggy will be leaving the music scene for good, it appears as if she also wants to dabble with online content, and considering she's quite a funny person, this might be a great move at building her reputation back up.
