Netflix has in recent years taken has put a lot of effort into appealing to anime fans, by getting the rights to a ton of popular anime series to have them on their site, these are series like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Naruto and Blue Exorcist. They have also been creating their own anime series, like Devilman Crybaby, Baki The Grappler, Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2045, and many others.

Netflix revived the Baki series and have produced a bunch of different anime series, most of them being very well-received like their Castlevania series and Kengan Ashura. Even with all the shows that Netflix currently has on its roster, it seems like the streaming service is only going to continue to add more anime content.

The next piece of anime media in Netflix's line is going to be a film titled A Whisker Away, produced by Studio Colorido, and directed by Junichi Sato and Tomotaka Shibayama.

But just what do we know about the film?

The studio's first release was a film called Shashinkan back in 2013, but the studio's most well-known work is probably a web series they produced: On the 15th of January 2020, Studio Colorido released the first episode of a web series based in the world of Pokémon, Pokémon: Twilight Wings, on YouTube. That web series is 5 episodes long and with its last episode being released on YouTube on June 4th in English, and June 5th in Japanese.

Studio Colorido has a beautiful art style that can be seen in all of their works, so this upcoming film is guaranteed to look amazing.
