When most people think of superstar musician Adam Levine and his supermodel wife, Behati Prinsloo, they imagine their wealth, and their ability to live life in the most lavish way.

These two may be huge stars in their own right, but their home in the Pacific Palisades reflects a much more laid-back energy than most fans would assume of this ultra-wealthy couple.

Levine and Prinsloo have opted to live in a one-story home that is described as a ranch-style property, and their decorative accents don't scream 'fancy' or 'luxurious' in any way. In fact, this is one of the coziest, 'homey' residences that fans have ever seen - and they love it!

Adam & Behati Kick It In Comfort

Both Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have been in the public sphere for much of their lives. Cameras are always flashing, and all eyes are always on them, so when they were looking to hunker down in their home and raise their kids, they opted for a very different lifestyle.

They chose a very low-key residence that contains a series of expensive art pieces and very expensive furniture, so don't worry - they still ooze class and sophistication - but their actual design style is far more relaxed than most would have assumed.

The textures of their furniture are all very soft, and they have a series of throws over the furniture, making it feel more like a comfortable, livable home than the stark, modern, minimalistic "showroom style houses" that so many other celebrities gravitate towards.

It's All About The Kids

One of the most obvious things that fans will first notice about their home is the fact that their lives are truly all about their kids. The furniture in their home is low, and Levine and Prinsloo intentionally avoided sharp corners and edges.

“We didn’t want a palatial McMansion. That’s just not who we are,” said the Maroon 5 frontman," and Behati went on to tell the press;  "We were attracted to this place because it felt homey."

There's a huge lawn in the back for the kids to play in, and the earth tones used in all of their design elements give off a very relaxed feeling.

Fans that expected crystal chandeliers, an elevator, and modern elements were stunned to see those typical features of a celebrity home replaced instead with a comfortable kitchen designed to host friends and family, and very much centralized around the couples' children.
