Emma Stone's time in La La Land (the film and the place) has proved to be very fruitful.

Of course, Stone had success before starring in her Oscar-winning role, but she was the highest-paid actress that year, in 2016. La La Land made her $26 million alone. That's practically her whole $30 million net worth. But, of course, she's had highs and lows like every actor. While she's been smart and saved her career by turning down some terrible roles, she's hasn't been smart in other cases where she's regretted taking on other flops at the same time.

She's earned a reputation for playing some of the most down to Earth girls, who aren't the most glamourous, so we're a little weirded out that she chose to play her first villain, Cruella de Vil. We could be witnessing a change in Stone before our very eyes, but either way, we'll still love her no matter who she plays or what paths she wants to explore.

We didn't realize she likes to spend her money like every other celebrity. For some reason, we were under the impression that she maybe didn't care about the glitz and the glam that came with being a celebrity and instead held the same down to Earth characteristics as most of her characters, but apparently not. The girl can spend.

She Has Tons Of Real Estate

Like most celebrities, Stone has a serious real estate portfolio that she continues to add to on both sides of the country. In 2012, she bought a Beverly Hills mansion for $2.4 million. This was the year she starred in The Amazing Spider-Man, so she definitely had the means to splash some cash.

The home was built during the '50s and has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The master suite even has a fireplace and two walk-in closets. Stone's cooking obsessions were definitely pleased by the kitchen's double oven, sub-zero fridge, and double dishwashers. Outside, there's a heated swimming pool and a huge patio.

When she first moved in, she spent a ton of money fixing it up and redecorating it. She added hardwood floors and colorful wallpapers and painted the walls to look more like a cottage. She didn't stay long; however, she sold it for nearly $4 million in 2019.

There's her New York Townhouse as well, where she lived with her ex-boyfriend, Spider-Man co-star, Andrew Garfield. We don't know how much they paid for it, but it went on the market for $18.75 million in 2017.

The townhouse dates back to 1835 and has five floors, which can all be individually lived in. Each floor has two fireplaces. Together, the building has nine bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and tons of terraces. Previous owners include Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Glenn Close, Courtney Love, and Olivier Sarkozy.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Stone has at least two homes in New York City. They say she has a $2.4 million West Village condo, which she bought in 2016, and a $3.6 million condo in the Financial District.

Stone also started renting a house on the base of Diamond Head in Hawaii after she shot the film Aloha. The villa costs $4 thousand a night and boasts luxury and high-tech.

In 2019, she picked up two more homes, one in Malibu, which cost $3.25 million, and the other in Century City, Los Angeles, which cost $2.3 million. To get to and from these homes, Stone needed a reliable car, so she picked up a good ol' Mini Cooper. But for when she's feeling more glamorous, she likes to drive an Audi S6, which costs $73,900.

She's Supported Different Causes Financially

After her mother became a cancer survivor in 2008, Stone started working with various campaigns to promote breast cancer awareness, including one with Revlon. She also starred in a fundraiser video in collaboration with Star Wars and Stand Up to Cancer in 2011.

In 2018, Stone donated $100,000 to Time's Up, the organization that fights against sexual harassment in the entertainment industry. Outside of entertainment, they help less privileged women who've suffered any abuse. Stone was one of 300 actresses and other members of the industry who donated.

She Spluges On Her Looks

Contrary to popular belief, Stone is not a natural redhead. She dyed her blonde locks red years back and has rarely gone back since. As a result, she's now an iconic redhead.

The upkeep for looking as flaming as ever takes a lot of money. Tracey Cunningham, Stone's colorist, told Refinery 29, "Ever since we made Emma red, she became this sort of hair icon — and clients ask me for her color all the time.

"But what many people don't realize is that no hair color is the same, and everyone's starting point is different, so the coloring process varies, especially with red. If someone wants Emma's hair, and their natural color is dark brown, I have to take a completely different approach than the way I treat Emma's color."

Stone also splurges on a personal stylist, so she never makes a fashion don't. Her look is so effortless, thanks to all the hard work of Petra Flannery, a veteran celebrity stylist who has been dressing Stone for over a decade now.

"We have evolved together," Flannery told Vogue. "Her fashion gets more and more fun. Over the years, it's been colorful, artful, and confident."

To fit flawlessly into the clothes Flannery picks out for her, she requires a personal trainer. She needs a trainer for work as well. She had to be in shape for La La Land and Battle of the Sexes. Stone went to the best, the famous celebrity trainer, Jason Walsh, who has trained everyone from Bradley Cooper to Brie Larson.

"As far as the tennis focus, we did do a lot of shoulder strengthening; rotational, anti-rotational work, things like that because of the motion of and how the body works for her," Walsh told W. "Her legs are strong. Her butt was extremely strong, which stabilizes the hips and helps with everything else."

All these purchases seem pretty normal for a celebrity, and while we know there have to be many more, Stone is too private to divulge her true spending habits. Maybe she has a weird secret collection or something.
