Kristen Stewart has been acting since her teenage years, so it’s not that surprising to hear that her net worth has recently hit $70 million.

Thanks to a string of blockbuster hits, such as Twilight and Snow White and the Huntsman, K-Stew, who shared an on-off romance with Robert Pattinson, has proven to production studios that she deserves every bit of the salary she commands given how she usually always draws big numbers at the box office.

Since her first major role as Sarah Altman in 2002’s Panic Room, alongside A-list star Jodie Foster, Stewart’s acting career has exploded - and it doesn’t appear as if the movie offers are slowing down anytime soon.

She’s backed a ton of endorsement deals over the years, such as her recent campaigns with Chanel, which have all helped her fortune rise to an impressive $70 million, but how exactly did she amass her entire net worth?

Kristen Stewart’s Earnings

Stewart has always had a successful acting career, which all started when she landed a role in Panic Room, which soon followed with 2004’s family film Catch That Kid.

By 2005, the 30-year-old was well on her way to superstardom when she signed on to star as Lisa in Zathura: A Space Adventure, where she would meet her friend and co-star Josh Hutcherson - the two have been pals ever since.

Her acting credentials continued to expand a bunch of movies, including Into the Wild, The Cake Eaters, The Yellow Handkerchief, Jumper, and 2008’s What Just Happened.

2008 proved to be one of Stewart’s busiest years considering that she had four films dropping in 12 months, and that included the ever-so-popular Twilight flick.

Twilight grossed an astounding $700 million at the box office and ultimately became the biggest franchise Stewart had been a part of.

So, it was only right that she’d get paid the big bucks for her involvement, no?

For the first installment of the five-part saga, Stewart and her co-star Robert Pattinson earned a cool $2 million, which seems fairly low considering how big the movie became, but that’s probably why the pair renegotiated their contract for its follow-up with New Moon in 2009.

The Fierce People star had now earned $12 million for the second film of the franchise while reports claim she made a little over that amount when she signed on for the third movie.

Breaking Dawn: Part 1 and Breaking Dawn: Part 2 saw Stewart make another $12.5 million per film, bringing the total amount to $25 million.

Based on the success of the first few Twilight films, entertainment attorney Christopher J. Cabott told E! News that renegotiating a deal with the production studio would have been relatively easy seeing how profitable the franchise had become.

"In most cases, the costs to make the film never get fully recouped and the talent's percentage never comes into play. On a blockbuster like Twilight: New Moon, however, the costs should get recouped and the talent's percentage on net profits should equate to a handsome payday.”

So it’s no surprise that after the release of the final film in 2012, Stewart was named the highest-paid actress in Hollywood by Forbes, who also claims that the LA native received an undisclosed share of profits made from the final two films.

Amid her newfound fame from her work on Twilight, Stewart also saw a lot of success with other films she had the pleasure of working on, including The Runaways, Adventureland, and Welcome to the Rileys.

In 2012, she starred in Snow White and the Huntsman, which was directed by Rupert Sanders - the man she was alleged to have shared a secret affair with while dating Pattinson.

“I did not f*** him. This is like the most candid interview. No, I didn’t f*** him,” she told the Howard Stern Show in 2019. It looked like… You know, you make out with a dude in public, it definitely looks like you did.”

Last year, Stewart was cast as Sabina Wilson in the Charlie’s Angels reboot, co-starring Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska, and Elizabeth Banks.

Though the film had moderate success at the box office, grossing $73 million with a $48 million budget, Stewart, according to Variety, still walked away with a $7 million salary, which obviously is nowhere near the numbers she made from Twilight but impressive nonetheless.

Stewart is gearing up for the upcoming release of her next film, Happiest Season, before filming commences for her next project, Spencer, which is expected to hit theatres in 2021.

Needless to say, this actress' career won't be slowing down anytime soon.
