However, by the time the adoption was finalized the couple had already split, so it was only Angelina who adopted Maddox on March 10, 2002. In early 2006, Maddox was adopted by Brad Pitt as well.

Today Maddox is 19 years old and he is attending Yonsei University in Seul, South Korea.
