Miranda Cosgrove recently shared the first onset photo featuring the upcoming iCarly reboot cast, which means that production is on the way.

The original cast of Nickelodeon's 2007 comedy series iCarly has officially logged in and is ready to take on the new digital era by storm.

Fans already received confirmation that a reboot was in the works and will be available on Paramount+ later this year.

Miranda Cosgrave Reunites with iCarly Co-Stars

Miranda Cosgrove, who stars as Internet sensation Carly Shay, shared the reunited cast's first photo, including Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor, all grown up and back together again.

Miranda captioned the photo with a simple heart emoji because there indeed are no words to describe the excitement of what's going down. If the picture isn't enough of a confirmation, fans can read the "iCarly Set 1" painted on the stage behind them.

Before sharing the photo, Miranda posted a selfie to Instagram in the same blue shamrock blouse. She was most likely on her way to the all-new iCarly set. Both Nathan and Jerry reposted the photo to their pages, with Jerry telling fans "prepare yourselves," as fans began expressing their excitement for what's to come.

iCarly Reboot

The final season of iCarly aired back in 2012 with the cast, including Jennette McCurdy and Noah Munck, all going their separate ways as Carly decided to move to Italy with her father, as Carly, Sam, and Freddie host their final broadcast of the show.

Fans are most eager to see what has transpired over the past nine years between Carly and Freddie after he kisses her during the series's final moments. As for the upcoming plotline, one of the show's producers, Jay Kogen, has been dishing some details over the past few weeks. He twitted, "The studio is Awesomeness. The network is Paramount +. And no one compares it to the old show at all. It's a new show, and they take it as a new show."

He also said that this show is much more mature than the original, explaining that iCarly creator Dan Schneider will not be associated with the project, adding, "We are bringing iCarly more into the real world. It's not a DanWarp show, and it's not for kids. So there will be charges."

Not much else is currently known about whether other characters like Jennette and Noah will make a small cameo.

Jennette McCurdy Missing From Reboot

Jennette has previously been open about her negative experience during the show's original run and the spinoff Sam & Cat alongside Ariana Grande, not to mention, she has retired from acting since 2017 to focus more on writing and directing.

Just as fans were thrilled to hear that the series was picking back up, many were disappointed after learning that Jennette McCurdy, who plays Carly's best friend Sam, and Noah Munck, who starred as Gibby, would not be returning. Some fans came to Jennette's defense about her decision not to return to the series claiming that she suffered abuse and has post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from the show.

Jennette just wrapped the first season of her Empty Inside podcast, and Noah has had a recurring role in the ABC series, The Goldbergs, since 2014.

Jennette has also maintained a pretty packed working schedule as she scored the lead role in Netflix's dystopian series Between. She also debuted her one-woman show I'm Glad My Mom Died back in February 2021, where she revealed more about her mother's death from cancer in 2013 and opened up about the challenges fame brought at a young age.

How Much Miranda Cosgrove Earned For Her Role In iCarly?

Miranda Cosgrove has a net worth of about 10 million dollars. She made a whopping $180.000 per episode. Given the fact that a total of six seasons and 109 episodes were produced, it's possible that she made over $1 million playing Carly Shay on the show.

iCarly' First Two Seasons Now Streaming on Netflix

Just weeks after it was announced that the classic Nickelodeon comedy series iCarly would be getting a reboot, fans will now be able to take a walk down nostalgia lane where it all began and stream the original series on Netflix.

Since the iCarly series ended back nine years ago, fans have been hoping for a reunion of some sort. It seems the Netflix guard has officially delivered, seeing as the show was featured on the platform's February rollout. However, only the first two seasons of the original series will be debuting on the streaming platform. The other four seasons will be available on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, or CBS All Access, aka Paramount+. Many fans have expressed their excitement for the show's return.
