Karen has always been open and honest about her relationship with Miles. Thanks to this, the couple has had the most realistic journey on the show. Fans are excited to see them grow even more.

On Married At First Sight, five couples have been married under extreme circumstances. They can't just have fun, but they also need to have those tough in-depth conversations to find out who they married so that they can connect on a much deeper level. In less than eight weeks, they're going to have to decide whether they want to stay married or get a divorce.

Karen and Miles first met at the altar. Miles was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The 26 years old man is passionate about education and enjoys working with children and young people. Nowadays, he's an administrator at an elementary school. His profile in The Advocate says, "Miles is looking for a wife, but feels like his options are limited. Married At First Sight is the perfect opportunity to be connected with a partner he would not ordinarily come across. Miles not only have faith in the experts but trusts the process".

Karen, on the other hand, is 30 years old and grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The reality star has been working as a consultant in New Orleans ever since she graduated. Her profile says, "Karen has been single for five years and finds dating to be quite difficult. Karen is ready to get Married At First Sight because she believes the experts will find the right man who has been eluding her all this time."

Past Relationships

Karen's ex-boyfriend had a child with someone else while they were together. After listening to her story in episode 4, Miles comforts her and tells her that he will be there and be patient.

Meanwhile, Miles has been in 10 monogamous relationships. The amount of ex-lovers surprises Karen because she only has had two boyfriends since she was 18 years old, and she's older than Miles.

Miles' past in so many relationships at the age of 26 makes Karen feel worried and ask herself if Miles is just a relationship hopper. For this reason, she doesn't feel sure if she could get married to him one day.

However, everything changes when Miles confesses to Karen during this episode, "I've always dated with the intention to marry and do whatever it takes to make it work, and if it doesn't work… it's not serving both of us, I want to be able to move forward".

Taking Things Slow

Miles thinks that dating is about figuring out who he is compatible with and understanding who he is and what he wants, so he can be the man that he wants to be for his wife.

Karen thinks that she has many good qualities for a relationship, but she also takes her time. That's why communication is essential for her because she wants a mutual understanding of their feelings.

So far this season, everyone's waking up in the same bed, except for Karen and Miles in episode 10. Karen stayed at her house after Miles put on the calendar, "have sex with my wife." Karen said she felt unsafe at that moment. Many of the show fans thought she wasn't into him and was only trying to give it a chance.

When she came back, Miles apologized and said he was sorry and he won't do it again. After their discussion, Karen said she was ready to get closer and show more affection. To prove her point, she stayed in the same bed with him and then talked about snuggling together. Along all the season, they will become closer.

Latest Updates of the Couple

According to Soap Dirt, the couple is still together: "This month (august of 2020), Karen and her husband Miles were happy and in love at the unfiltered taping". She needed time to open up to him. The experts of the show said during the first episode, "we've paired Karen and Miles because they're both hopeless romantics, whose core beliefs about life, family, and most importantly, marriage align perfectly. In a recent interview with MadameNoire, the bride confessed that she had concerns initially, but she doesn't regret having joined the show's cast.
