Kellie Pickler quickly made her mark on the entertainment industry when she wowed the "American Idol" judges back in 2005. The country music star skyrocketed to nationwide fame and success and managed to secure herself one heck of a country career. With her 2006 debut album "Small Town Girl" having scored herself three top 20 songs on th Billboard Hot Country Songs, there was really no looking back for Kellie Pickler.

The singer slowly began acting as well and later landed her very own talk show, "Pickler & Ben" alongside co-host and journalist, Ben Aaron. While the 2017 talk show seemed to have been doing well, it was officially canceled last year. Despite losing her talk show, Kellie has picked herself back up and has started working on a number of projects, including her work on several Hallmark Christmas movies.

Hallmark, Here I Come!

Kellie Pickler became a staple in the world of country music after appearing on season 5 of "American Idol". Pickler was a contestant on the reality competition show alongside Chris Daughtry, Katherine McPhee, and Taylor Hicks. While she didn't win her season, she certainly left a lasting impression. The stars country accent, wit, and charm led her to become a fan favorite, scoring herself her very own record deal.

It was only a year later that Kellie Pickler released her debut album, "Small Town Girl", which sold 500,000 copies and is certified gold by the RIAA. Kellie released three more country albums, with her most recent being released back in 2013. While she hasn't been making any new music, it appears as if she's found her way to television! Kellie found herself returning to "Idol" a number of times for hosting gigs, segments, and recording soundtracks for film and television. Kellie was later offered her very own talk show alongside co-host and journalist, Ben Aaron titled "Pickler & Ben".

The show debuted in 2017 and was very well received, however, it seems as if it's two-season run has come to an end. In March 2019, the E.W Scripps Company announced that the show would officially be coming to an end come September 2019. Although things didn't work out with her talk show, "Pickler & Ben", the star has moved on over to made for TV movies. Kellie has appeared in a number of Hallmark Christmas movies, including: "Christmas At Graceland", "Wedding At Graceland", and "The Mistletoe Secret".

While her music is still something Kellie is very much passionate about, she has found her love for made for TV movies, most of which are on Hallmark. Additionally, Kellie wrote and recorded a song for each film she appeared in, showcasing her musical and acting talents.
