Plenty of young actors grew to fame after acting in Harry Potter, though for some, it took quite a bit of effort to break out of the magical realm. Especially for Daniel Radcliffe, things were tough after the staggering success of HP.

Fortunately for Daniel, his net worth only grew following the final movie; he's worth $112 million today. At the same time, there are some things Radcliffe regrets about his time on film, including the international fame that has affected his life in significant ways.

For other actors in the films, though, fame was somewhat fleeting. For example, the actress who played Young Lily only had a few scenes in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.' After filming wrapped, she probably wasn't stopped on the street often or harassed by paparazzi.

But what did happen to the young girl who played Lily?

According to IMDb, the girl who played Young Lily was Ellie Darcey-Alden. While portraying Lily Evans may have turned out to be the highlight of her young career (people still obsess over Ellie on Instagram and call her 'Lily'), Ellie had a series of other jobs before being cast as the young witch.

The British actress was on a TV series in 2008, though her appearance was uncredited, had a recurring role on a sitcom in 2009. In 2011 came 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,' and the next year, Darcey-Alden was on 'Doctor Who.'

She was in some other assorted projects, including short films and TV series, until 2014, when it seems she stepped out of the spotlight for a bit. Then, in 2019, Ellie was back in the series 'How to Identify a Serial Killer.' A few more short films followed, and another project in 2020 that doesn't seem to be available yet for US audiences.

But, fans don't have to wait for the film to be released to see how Ellie has grown up since HP.

Clearly, Lily had a glow-up, and fans are all about Ellie Darcey-Alden in her new ventures. Apparently, she works with Elev8 Talent Agency, but it's a wonder that she even needs an agency to get jobs at this point. Fame from 'HP' hasn't left her, as evidenced by the comments on her Instagram.

Like the rest of the cast of the 'Harry Potter' films, Ellie hasn't forgotten where she came from. Peep this snap from her IG, for her 21st birthday; she even posed with a 'Harry Potter' book for the series of images.

Ellie's also a fan of including captions reminiscent of the magical world when posting on IG. For example, she posted selfies of a skydiving adventure where she called the experience 'muggle Quidditch.' Fans love it, and TBH, someone's probably started a petition to cast Ellie Darcey-Alden in some other part of the HP franchise.
