It's been ten years since the world was introduced to the world of competitive dance through Lifetime's reality series Dance MomsThe series became a huge hit as fans flocked to it eager to cheer on the ALDC and comment on Abby Lee Miller's teaching practices.

As the cast got older and Miller found herself in legal trouble, Lifetime eventually decided to end the show in September 2019. Since then the cast has kept busy both in their personal and professional lives. Social media currently helps fans stay connected to their favorite cast member but even they can't keep up with all the fun projects these former dancers have going on.

10 Maddie Ziegler

Maddie Ziegler was definitely the favorite when it came to Dance Moms. Luckily for her, she has had just as much success since leaving the reality series. Most notable she's been featured in several music videos with Sia.

However, Ziegler's most recent project is one that combines both acting and dancing together. She is starring in West Side Story as Velma which is set to hit theaters in December 2021.

9 Mackenzie Ziegler

Mackenzie Ziegler was the youngest member of the ALDC when the series first premiered. Though Mackenzie spent a lot of time living in her older sister, Maddie's footsteps, Mackenzie has managed to make a name for herself in recent years.

She launched a music career under the stage name Kenzie and has an impressive following on social media. Most recently, she competed in Fox's The Masked Dancer as the Tulip. Ziegler's ALDC training paid off and she ended up coming in third place on the show.

8 Chloe Lukasiak

There is no denying that Chloe Lukasiak was one of the most talented dancers on the ALDC. Unfortunately, she often didn't get the praise she deserved from Abby who favored Maddie. Eventually, the tensions got too high and Lukasiak left the show.

Since then Lukasiak has been keeping busy both in college and in her professional life. In addition to running a successful social media presence, Lukasiak has most recently appeared in Facebook Watch's Earth Day short with other celebrities.

7 Nia Sioux

Nia Sioux might not have got the credit she deserved dancing on Dance Moms for nearly ten years, but she's definitely getting the credit she deserves now. For starters, Sioux is pursuing an education at UCLA.

College isn't the only thing she is focusing on. She's appeared in several television and film projects and even released a new single in 2020. However, her latest project involves her hosting a Spotify Original Podcast called Adulting with Teala & Nia.

6 Brooke Hyland

Brooke Hyland was one of the older members of the original cast of Dance Moms and as such she often had to deal with the drama the younger girls had going on. Eventually, Brooke left the show to live a more "normal" life.

Since her time on Dance Moms, Brooke has graduated college with a marketing degree. She seems to be putting that degree to good use as she runs a very successful food-themed Instagram as well as a successful YouTube channel.

5 Paige Hyland

Just like Maddie, Paige Hyland often found herself living in her sister's shadow despite being more passionate about her dancing career. Unfortunately, her time on Dance Moms ended at the same time Brooke decided to leave the show.

Like her sister, Paige has gone on to have a "normal" life while also leading a successful social media presence. She is currently in college but also makes time to post silly videos on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

4 Kendall Vertes

Kendall Vertes wasn't an original cast member of Dance Moms but she didn't let that stop her from making her mark at the ALDC. Like the rest of the girls, Vertes has managed to stay in the spotlight despite the show ending.

While the spotlight hasn't always been great for Vertes, she got a lot of criticism during the 2020 Presidental Election, Vertest has continued on her journey. She most recently appeared in the 2020 Anastasia movie where she played Beatrice.

3 Kalani Hilliker

Like Kendall, Kalani Hilliker joined the cast of ALDC later on in the show's run. However, she quickly became one of Abby's favorite and regularly earned beautiful solos.

While Hilliker originally expressed an interest in dancing professionally, it seems as if that dream has changed. In recent years Hilliker has leaned more towards the acting side appearing in the Brat TV show Dirt. And like Kendall, she too came under fire during the 2020 Presidential Election.

2 Jojo Siwa

Maddie might have been the favorite on Dance Moms but Jojo Siwa has definitely become the most famous since leaving the show. An impressive feat since Siwa was regularly not the favorite on the show.

Since leaving, Siwa has launched a majorly successful singing career, creating her own empire with some help from Nickelodeon. She's gone on to launch her own accessory line and recently was named on Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2020 list. She also recently opened up about her sexuality announcing that she identifies with the LGBTQ+ community.

1 Abby Lee Miller

Abby Lee Miller made quite the impression on the world when audiences tuned in to Dance Moms in 2011. Her teaching styles weren't always ethical and yet parents still paid her hundreds of dollars to teach their children.

In fact, parents are still paying Miller to teach their children. While Miller went through several years of hardship, including having to close the studios down due to COVID-19, Miller's studios are back up and running and Miller is doing what she does best: teaching.
