Many films have come and gone over the past few decades, but Quentin Tarantino-directed Pulp Fiction was a special cornerstone for postmodern films. It's a celebration of self-reflexivity and unconventional structure at the highest level, in which many hailed it as one of the greatest movies ever made. It's brilliantly, blazingly, and originally written, because the director was not afraid to push the groundbreaking limits of what cinematography and screenwriting could offer back in the time.

10 Christopher Walken (Captain Koons)

A USAF veteran of the Vietnam War, Christopher Walken's performance in Pulp Fiction would never go unappreciated. In fact, before Pulp Fiction, Walken was already a household name with dozens of high-end award nominations under his belt.

These days, the 77-year-old actor remains as prevalent in Hollywood as ever. Some of his latest work includes, The War with Grandpa and Apple TV+'s Ben Stiller-directed series Severance.

9 Rosanna Arquette (Jody)

Another big name among the Pulp Fiction cast, Rosanna Arquette won the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the 1985's Desperately Seeking Susan with Madonna. She's since ventured into roles in television series, having appeared in ABC's What About Brian? and more recently in Showtime's series, Ray Donovan and YouTube's Sideswiped. Ving Rhames has been keeping himself busy with smaller cameo roles over the past few years. In the Mission: Impossible franchise, he portrays IMF Agent Luther Stickell. Other impressive titles also include Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Zombie Apocalypse. He's also ventured into voice-acting for video games for Driver 2 and Call of Duty: WWII.

7 Maria de Medeiros (Fabienne)

Maria de Medeiros displayed a fantastic portrayal as Butch's love interest. In real life, the Portuguese actress hasn't been shy about her work in the social justice field. She is the first-ever woman from Portugal to be designated a UNESCO Artist for Peace. As for now, she has been enjoying smaller roles in indie and low-budget films.

6 Amanda Plummer (Yolanda)

Amanda Plummer was a good partner in crime to Ringo in Pulp Fiction. Before Pulp Fiction, she already had a well-known name thanks to her Tony Awards win in 1982 for Agnes of God. In the late 1990s, she married follow screenwriter Paul Chart and lived a quiet and happy life in Los Angeles. In recent years, she's starred in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) and Netflix's Ratched (2020).

Pulp Fiction wasn't the first of Tim Roth's collaborations with Quentin Tarrantino. In fact, the two ended up coming with two more collaborative projects following Pulp Fiction: Four Rooms (1995) and The Hateful Eight (2015). Roth's latest works air on Fox (Lie to Me) and Sky Atlantic (Tin Star).

Harvey Keitel may be aging, but that doesn't stop him from securing important roles in the latter stage of his career. The 81-year-old actor, who is an honorary citizen of Romania, is currently gearing up for Lansky, an up-and-coming biographical crime-drama that chronicles the life of the infamous gangster. He's also recently starred in Blood on the Crown and Fatima.

3 Uma Thurman (Mia Wallace)

Uma Thurman was just an aspiring actress in Pulp Fiction. Now, it appears her on-stage character's dream has come to life. The 50-year-old proud mother of three is a leading actress in Hollywood with a Golden Globe Award win for Hysterical Blindness and several other nominations. Thurman became widely known for her roles in the Kill Bill films. In recent years, the star has ventured into Broadway plays and stars in The War with Grandpa, alongside Robert De Niro and her Pulp Fiction castmate, Christopher Walken.

2 Samuel L. Jackson (Jules Winnfield)

Who doesn't recognize Samuel Jackson, the best partner in crime Vincent Vega could have ever asked for? Following Pulp Fiction, Jackson showed no sign of slowing down. He has established himself as one of the most bankable and highest-grossing actors of all time, with several impressive works in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies as Nick Fury. He also does voice work, including voicing Frozone in The Incredibles and The Incredibles 2.

Lastly, there was John Travolta as the leading hero of the story. Before Pulp Fiction, the actor amassed growing popularity in the 1970s and the 1980s. Unfortunately, following his wife Kelly Preston's sudden death in July 2020, the actor decided to take some time away from the Hollywood spotlight to care for his children.

"I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while," the actor took to Instagram to announce his hiatus. Some of the actors most recent work include the role of John Gotti in the biographical crime film Gotti, and he can be recognized as Santa Claus in Capital One's Christmas ad.
