The Grammy-winning singer, Ariana Grande, has been quite the busy lady recently with a new album, a wedding to plan, and now, a stint on The Voice. The gifted artist, who has a huge following, is definitely going to switch things up for Season 21 of the talent show! At the end of March, on a casual day, fans of Grande were given the surprise of a lifetime, when in typical millennial fashion, the songstress dropped the announcement on her Instagram account saying, "Surprise !!! I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice ! @nickjonas we will miss you."

The new superstar judge will replace Nick Jonas on the show, and The Voice judges are ready for some fresh competition. So, how do the other artists feel about welcoming the talented pop star who has millions of Arianators backing her up?

10 Kelly Clarkson Is Prepared

The successful winner of American Idol, who blew us away way back when, recently opened up about Grande's new job. Also as the host of her very own talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, the singer and coach works well under pressure.

However, on a recent episode of her show, she made a remark about Ariana Grande's casting. After an audience member was asked to showcase his talent and sing some Stevie Wonder, the humble artist pushed him to audition for the show, but on one condition: that he selects her and not the "34 + 35" singer.

9 Clarkson Knows There'll Be Competition

If you're an avid viewer of The Voice, you may already know that Clarkson has quite the sense of humor and is all about the #sorrynotsorrys.

After she encouraged the talented man on The Kelly Clarkson Show to audition and be on her team, Clarkson wasn't shy to say, "And if you pick Ariana Grande, I will kick your a-- … ‘cause she’s definitely my biggest competition next season." Now that's a feisty Clarkson!

If anyone knows what competition is, it's certainly the American Idol alum!

8 Blake Shelton Isn't Too Worried

Blake Shelton, the reigning winning coach on The Voice, has definitely been vocal about Grande joining the spinning red chairs!

Before taking a shot at Grande maybe stealing a win from him, he made a comment about Nick Jonas in a People interview saying, "Nick is the easiest coach I have ever beat in 20 seasons of doing this show." Hoping to add the 8th win to his name, the country singer is excited for the newcomer to join so that he has someone else - besides Nick Jonas - to beat. "I'm excited about Ariana joining the show because it's somebody new for me to beat," he said.

7 Shelton Is Already Confident

The news of Grande joining the team sent her loyal fans into full-blown panic mode, but did Shelton feel that as well?

The country star doesn't seem antsy, nervous, or bothered that the huge talent will be his "competitor" this fall. If anything, his confidence seems to have heightened a little.

In a virtual interview with ET, Shelton, after teasing Jonas said, "I think she could be a challenge." The fierce (and funny) competitor went on by jokingly saying, "I'm looking forward to beating her, though."

6 Clarkson's Loving Thoughts

There will be no catfights or dilemmas between Clarkson and Grande!

Although Clarkson would evidently love to make the Season 21 win hers, she won't be changing who she is. The singer and writer posted a heartwarming tweet, sharing her sweet sentiments of how thrilled she is to see another woman joining the panel.  And, on The Kelly Clarkson Show, she openly spoke of the news that has Grande fans brainstorming a way to get close to their idol. Speaking of when she was told who would replace Jonas, Clarkson said, "They said she was signing on, I was like ‘We’re all going to lose.’ I love her though. I’m excited about it."

5 John Legend Is Feeling Optimistic

The ever-so-humble John Legend, who has the voice of an angel, also spoke of Grande who will soon be beside him in a rotating chair.

While Grande fans instantly became fans of the NBC show, Legend also shared the same enthusiasm. The 42-year-old, who also has millions of adoring fans, cannot wait to see what Grande adds to Season 21, according to People. With clear excitement, the legendary singer said, "Part of the charm of the show is that we keep things exciting and bring different coaches on that will add a new flavor to the mix."

4 Legend Believes In Her Talent

While Shelton kept on poking at Legend about how he's beaten him numerous times, Legend was more concerned about sharing kind and encouraging words about the fellow entertainer who newly signed on to the show.

Legend told reporters, "Ariana is one of the most gifted artists in our business today. She is a huge, chart-topping artist with amazing vocal skills. I think so many of our fans out there truly love her, and I think she's going to bring additional fans to the show, a different audience to the show, and I think it's going to be great for all of us." How touching!

3 Shelton's Posing A Challenge

It's always difficult to decipher the country star's tone; more precisely, when to take him seriously or not.

In another video posted by People, Stefani's partner was asked what he feels about Grande's "threat." Without hesitation, The Voice coach said, "She is s****** okay, that's all I'm saying because none of us are going to take it easy on her." We feel the fire he's going to bring from here! In Shelton's lingo, the remark he made translates to, "it's on, Grande!"

2 Nick Jonas' Humble Advice

To those who are obsessed with the Jonas brother and are heartbroken to see him leave, don't worry, we're whimpering too - welp!

Although Jonas may return to the show in the future, in the same interview as his colleagues, he was asked if he had some words for the pop star taking his place. With grace, the 28-year-old got straight to the point, "Ariana clearly doesn't need my advice." Jonas went on to say, "She's an incredible artist and, I think, our generation's best vocalist. She's got such an incredible career to pull from to inspire these artists she's going to work with. I'm so excited to see her beat Blake. It's going to be great for me." We're struck by his endearing words!

1 Legend Admits The Change Was Needed

Legend also vouched for Grande from the start! To stay relevant in today's society, mixing things up and changing things around is often a must.

Although "battle time" will now include more competition, Legend is excited for all that's to come. Speaking from experience, the singer said, "What we've learned is that our audience likes some stability with coaches, but I think it also likes for us to introduce some new flavors to the mix every once in a while." The flavor of the season? Ariana Grande.

He went on and added, "I think Ariana is going to be a great addition."

The positivity of the coaches is quite striking, to say the least!
