As Tiger’s star rose, so did interest in his personal life. Elin Nordegren, who is of Swedish descent, worked as a nanny for the family of golfer Jesper Parnevik. It is through the job that she managed to meet Tiger. Though she wasn’t interested in him at first, they eventually struck a relationship and got married in 2004. 10 She Bought A Florida Mansion
Elin’s divorce from Tiger Woods saw her walk away with a reported $100 million settlement. Her first order of business was to purchase a new home. She set her sights on a Florida mansion. The home, located in North Palm Beach, was built in the 1920s. Financially, it set her back an estimated $12 million dollars. Given the magnitude of her settlement, that could count as pocket change, maybe?
9 Then Had It Demolished
Since the house she’d purchased was a bit out of date, Elin Nordegren opted to have it demolished altogether. She was advised by an architect that it made more sense to do away with the entire structure than try to get it to meet hurricane protection standards. Elin did just that. Away went ninety-plus years of architecture and the history it carried with it.

While the home was demolished in 2011, Erin made sure to salvage any valuable pieces it had. For four weeks, Habitat for Humanity camped on the grounds, scrutinizing the 90-year-old mansion for anything they could find. The valuables retrieved included a 12-foot fountain, five refrigerators, wine chillers, and other furniture.
7 Then Built Her Dream House
Elin proceeded to build a mega-mansion. According to Realtor, the cost of building it was estimated to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $23 million to $24 million. The house, which was termed by real estate broker Jeff Lichtenstein as gorgeous, was completed in 2014. It featured 11 bedrooms, 15 full bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, an enormous kitchen with two islands, a built-in grill, a pool with a water slide, amongst other amenities.
6 And Later Sold It At A Profit
The Florida Mansion first went on the market in 2018, only four years after Elin had it built. At that time, she was asking for $49.5 million, almost twice what she was estimated to have spent on the house. In 2019, she gave the ask a $5 million chop and put it back on the market with a list price of $44.5 million. In the long run, the house was sold to Russell Weiner for an undisclosed amount, though rumor had it that he parted with $28 million.
5 She Moved On With Jamie Dingman
According to Daily Mail, Nordegren moved on with Investor Jamie Dingman. As of July 2011, the couple had been ‘dating for months.’ A little birdie told The New York Times that Elin and the then-bachelor, who had previously been linked to Princess Madeleine of Sweden, had ‘strong feelings for each other.’ In 2012, People reported that Elin was back in the dating field as the relationship had run its course.
4 And Went On A Dinner Date With Douglas Murray
It didn’t take so long before Elin would be spotted with her next potential beau. In December 2012, the model was seen at dinner in the company of Douglas Murray, a Swedish hockey player. She and the athlete dined at a high-end spot in the company of two of her siblings, sparking a few dating rumors. As to whether they were an item, we’ll never know.

The relationship between Chris Cline and Elin Nordegren was lowkey at first since it was her first serious one after the divorce. The two were first neighbors and friends before their relationship blossomed into romance. Despite the private nature of their romance, the media somehow got wind of it. In 2017, she and the coal mining billionaire, who passed on in a tragic helicopter crash in 2019, parted ways.

2019 saw NFL star Jordan Cameron pair up with Elin Nordegren. The former Miami Dolphins player and Elin appeared to be happy, their eight-year age difference not raising the slightest alarm.
