7 The Two Are BFFs

There is no better person to create a brand with than your own BFF. Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough are both real life best friends and knew they both shared an equal love for wine. The two have been friends for nearly a decade now and met through their hairstylist, Riawna Capri. "We realized how much we celebrate each other’s differences and bring out each other’s greatness."

They both have stated how enjoyable the experience of creating their own company together as best friends has been and how it makes it much more exciting. Dobrev did share there are always highs and lows but the joy and experiences throughout the process with her best friend makes it worth it.

She further explained the new wine is a "really fresh and light citrus; grapefruit" Rosé and was a flavour combination they both enjoyed and agreed on. They partnered with Jamey Whetstone, who is known for  making  'Turley Wine Cellars’ wines and is the professional behind coming out with first vintages, which includes 2018 and 2019.

3 The Wine Is Guilt-Free

When creating Fresh Vine Wine over the course of two years, both celebrities noticed a "gap in the wine category." The gap was finding a healthier wine without compromising the taste. Both Dobrev and Hough were on the look out for a wine that was "low-calorie, low-carb, and gluten-free" but "they hit a wall."

Hough did vocalize her concern with such a wine existing to Architectural Digest as they usually, "compromised taste and experience."

They were able to achieve low calorie, low carb, low sugar and gluten-free wines with the help of Jamey Whetstone who shares the same values as the two stars. The two stated on their brand's website their intention  for Fresh Vine Wine and how it greatly goes hand-in-hand with an active and healthy lifestyle,

"We created Fresh Vine Wine with the intention of finding a balance between your active routine and enjoying those other moments with your friends with a glass of delicious wine that you can count on complementing the work that you put in without the sacrifice."

2 It Is Manufactured Naturally

Fresh Vine Wine is all about enjoying a glass of wine without compromising taste or your health. The wine making behind the brand is innovative and produces "thoughtfully crafted wines." The brand states on the website,

1 They Want To Create A Reserve

Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough have a lot of goals in mind for their new brand Fresh Vine Wine. Hough told The Hollywood Reporter they both are looking "into different vineyards to do a Napa Valley Fresh Vine reserve," and want it to be accessible for everyone to enjoy the satisfaction that comes from drinking wine. She further tells the media outlet her and Dobrev's excitement for this possible business endeavour,

"we also want to be able to give back to the Napa Valley community while still focusing on low cal and gluten-free, keto, etc., but just bringing the premium scale up a little bit more."

Who wouldn't want to kick back at a reserve and enjoy all the wine while being guilt-free?
