Stause stars on the super popular Netflix original, 'Selling Sunset,' a reality series about the Oppenheim Group, a luxury real-estate company is California. Chrishell made headlines as one of the real-estate agents on the reality show along with some ups and downs she revealed on the hit series. Stause entered the Hollywood scene as an actress, landing some pretty successful roles for herself. She has also been known to date some big celebrity names along with having a big public divorce from This is Us star Justin Hartley. While Stause has been spoken about in the press frequently over the past few years since the success of Selling Sunset, she continued to put a smile on her face along the way while being one of the favorites of the mega popular show. 7 Her First Name Isn't Actually 'Chrishell'

Chrishell Stause was not actually named 'Chrishell' in fact, she has an entirely different first name. She was actually named Terrina Chrishell Stause. The way she got the middle name 'Chrishell' does come with an unordinary backstory. Her middle name was made up by her parents as a "tribute" to her birth story.

Stause explained on an episode of 'Selling Sunset' that her mother, "...went into labor with her daughter at a Shell gas station, and an attendant named Chris helped her deliver the baby." Her mothers far-from-ordinary birth experience made her want to pay homage  to the occurrence by naming her daughter after the attendant who assisted in her labour, "Chris," and the gas station she gave birth in a "Shell" gas station, ending up with the name "Chrishell."

6 She Has Experienced Homelessness

Stause revealed back in 2018 that her and family struggled with poverty and homelessness

during her childhood. The actress and real-estate agent has now made quite the name and net worth for herself, taking herself out of her past struggles. She once shared,

"I was homeless a few times in my life and it was really hard growing up, but now I'm super grateful about everything."

She has also revealed the struggles she endured during her time in school, explaining she was homeless in both seventh and tenth grade. Chrishell has been open about how it was "embarrassing" for her during school to be homeless and had to lie during school a lot to make sure no one found out about her being homeless.

5 She Was In Soap Operas

Before real-estate, Chrishell was an actress commonly on popular soap operas. Her first big role was Amanda Dillon on 'All My Children' and she played this role until 2011. After 'All My Children' was cancelled, Stause was on a variety of different primetime shows and film before returning back to her roots in daytime television.

When she returned to daytime TV she played the part of Jordan Ridgeway on popular soap opera 'Days of our Lives' and she as well got the role as Bethany Bryant on 'The Young and the Restless.' She was later nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "her portrayal of Jordan Ridgeway" on 'Days of our Lives' who she played regularly from 2013 to 2015 and as a recurring role in 2019 and as a guest role in 2020.

4 She Was Engaged To Mathew Morrison

In 2006 Chrishell Stause began dating Glee actor Mathew Morrison who soon proposed to Stause in 2007. She broke off their engagement claiming she felt Morrison was seeing other people, including his then Glee co-star Lea Michelle. She told a media outlet,

"I decided to break off our engagement because I believed he was seeing other people and just wasn't ready to fully commit."

She discussed her engagement to Morrison on 'Selling Sunset' without actually disclosing his name. Stause talked about how she was young during their engagement and didn't really know who she was at 25 years old. On the show she said,

“And I didn't know what I wanted because actually, if I ended up with the person I was with when I was 25, I would want to kill myself... Yeah you can Google that!"

3 She Was Married To Justin Hartley

In 2017 Stause married This Is Us star Justin Hartley and legally added "Hartley" to her name. The two divorced after two years of marriage where Stause openly discussed her

sadness from their breakup, which was because of "irreconcilable differences." In season three of 'Selling Sunset' Chrishell talked about her divorce from Hartley and stated he told her he was divorcing her via text message proving she deserves much better.

2 She Was On 'Dancing With The Stars'

Chrishell Stause was on 'Dancing With The Stars'  in 2020 and was paired up with pro dancer Gleb Savchenko. After posting pictures together on their Instagrams, Stause speculated dating rumours with pro dancer Keo Motsepe and later confirmed them to be true. Dating rumors between Chrishell and Gleb first were rumoured but those later denied. After less than three months together, Chrishell and Keo split with Chrishell accusing the dancer of being a "liar." Although, the relationship was not long it was a good thing for Chrishell to move on to something better.

1 Now She Is Dating Jason Oppenheim

In July Chrishell revealed on her Instagram she is now in a relationship with her boss and co-star on 'Selling Sunset' Jason Oppenheim. They confirmed to People that they are both "very happy together." Oppenheim also told People, 

"Chrishell and I became close friends and it has developed into an amazing relationship."

The couple has been talked about in the media for a couple of weeks now. The two have been seen in a number of photos together packing on the PDA and looking happy with each other. This is a surprising celebrity couple that everyone is excited about!
