Arnold Schwarzenegger carried around some serious baggage, so much so that he needed to seek therapy in order to calm the situation. Eventually, it was revealed that Arnold had a love child, Joseph Baena. Looking at the two alongside one another, it is rather evident that they're father and son. Despite the controversy that would ensue, Arnold admitted that his son understood the situation, "Joseph’s terrific and he totally understands the situation. So, it all has worked out… It’s a very tough situation for him. It’s a very tough situation for my kids. Very tough situation for my family. It was tough for everybody. But it has happened and now we have to figure it out, right?"
They did more than just figure it out, the two have a special and close bond, partaking in things like weight lifting alongside one another. Baena revealed they are very close these days, "We hang out all the time! He is a great father! That’s really all I have to say about him! We train together, we eat together. We do many things together. I have nothing bad to say about my father,” he continued. “I love him! He is a jokester! He can be intense sometimes. He knows how to get things done. If he needs to get things done, he is going to get things done. He is serious about his work and what he does.”
Joseph would also admit that his dad gave him some valuable advice along the way as well, "Put 100% into what I’m doing. Whether that is training, working, school. Just give it my all,” he said when explaining the advice. “Leave nothing. No regrets that I didn’t put enough effort in. I think that was huge for me!”
It seems like Joseph is putting that hard work in, though surprisingly, he isn't walking in his father's footsteps as most would assume. Baena is going his own way and as he recently revealed on IG, he's getting started in his new career.
Realtor Life
Joseph is choosing a different path and one that involves selling some fancy properties. It seems like he got the approval of his dad as well, Arnold liked the post. Joseph discussed his latest chapter, "Not your average realtor! Super excited to start a new career in residential real estate. Looking forward to growing and learning from my amazing team @aria_properties, but more so looking forward to putting you guys in a new home! An interesting career path and one that Arnold is no doubt proud of. It'll be interesting to see if he ever makes the jump to bodybuilding or films at some point down the road.
