After speculations about Britney Spears’ bizarre Instagram posts, some fans are convinced her conservator hired a lookalike to pose as the pop star.

This fan theory follows Spears’ bombshell testimony on her conservatorship, in which the Toxic singer alleged psychological abuse and violation of privacy.

Fans are as concerned as ever by the Princess of Pop’s Instagram, where cryptic posts continue appearing after she testified in court. Particularly, a picture published on July 7 had her 31.3 million followers wonder if it is really her in the snap.

Britney Spears Fans Think Her Conservator Hired A Lookalike

The picture shows the pop star giving her naked back to the camera.

However, fans were quick to notice a missing detail: the person in the picture doesn’t have Britney’s neck and lower back tattoos.

“We know this isn’t you,” one fan wrote.

“Where are the tattoos?” another asked.

While some fans claimed that the neck tattoo has been removed, this wouldn’t explain the absence of the tattoo on Spears’ lower back. Others pointed out that pictures can be edited, but it isn’t clear whether this is the case.

“pictures can be edited. Funny how she has the exact same freckle though in the same spot. You can also just tell by the neck/face line this is her,” one follower commented.

Britney’s Neck Tattoo Is Clearly Visible In A Video Posted In June

Britney’s neck tattoo is clearly visible in an Instagram post published on June 12.

In the caption, Spears discusses the ink in detail, explaining the meaning of the phrase in Hebrew she chose to have on her skin permanently.

“They are f**king with us. Stay focused everybody and remember Britney’s ig is LEGALLY owned by her father,” another fan wrote on celebrity gossip page @unverifiedreport, where the claims of a lookalike were discussed.

Recent reports and her testimony prove that the singer has been trying to free herself from her 13-year-long conservatorship, started out in 2008 over concerns for her mental health. Her father, Jamie Spears, is in charge of her fortune and makes decisions concerning her persona.

In court, Spears claimed she is being prevented to have her birth control device removed to be able to have another child. She also said she was made to perform against her will.

In November last year, the artist had asked for her father to be removed as conservator. Her request was denied last month, but it was not in direct response to her more recent, emotional testimony. After appearing in court, Spears is yet to file a petition to end the conservatorship completely.
