The Friends Reunion Show has been so highly anticipated and was such a huge deal to millions of fans across the globe. Matthew Perry's reappearance in front of his fan base again was a huge opportunity for him to redeem himself after many previous controversial sightings. He was engaged to Molly Hurwitz, and by all accounts, it appeared that his life was on an upswing.

Sadly, his appearance on the show and subsequent dissolved engagement is reminding fans that he's an absolute wreck, and they're angry with him for throwing it all away.

Matthew Perry's History Of Problems

Matthew Perry had been previously labeled as a man that was riddled with problems and addictions who couldn't keep himself together, and optimistic fans were hoping he would return and slide into his role as Chandler with renewed excitement.

Instead, he presented himself in a slurred, intoxicated state, and publicly reconfirmed that his issues were far from being resolved.

Perry had prior addiction issues and fans immediately assumed this was happening again. They began by feeling worried about his well-being, and concerned for his health, but after hearing that his engagement to Hurwitz had also dissolved, it became clear to many that Perry is once again spiraling out of control.

Fan compassion has seemingly run out, as they can only support Perry for so long before insisting he take action to help himself. They're blaming him for ruining his own life and are now trolling him on social media.

Fans Blame Perry

Fans think Matthew Perry needs to get a grip on his life now, and take accountability for his life choices. If he can't even pull himself together for a reunion show that was years in the making and gave him sufficient notice, fans question how he could have sustained a relationship with Molly.

They are fuming  at Perry and have taken to social media to say; "That man is lost. You could see it in his eyes at that reunion. He may make millions a year off of residuals but he is a deeply flawed and disturbed man," as well as; "He needs to get his act together, and get a life already. how old is he now ? He's got to stop playing hard slurring his words on National TV @ friends reunion ..maybe she got S.M.A.R.T."

One fan channeled their inner Chandler while responding to this, by saying; "Could he BEEE more effed up?" while others chimed in to say; " He is a shell of his former self."

One fan called out the disrespectful way he treated Molly when he was flirting it up with another woman on Raya by commenting; "Stuff isn’t going to work out if you’re videochatting with 18-20 yo girls on Raya while being engaged."
