Bravo's Real Housewives has certainly turned into quite the phenomenon! The franchise first began back in 2006 with the Real Housewives of Orange County starting things off. Fans were introduced to Vicki Gunvalson, who managed to be the longest-running full-time housewife on any franchise, that is until her demotion after season 13.

While it's clear that things have definitely changed on the show, especially when it comes to casting, fans are now under the impression that this might be the last of RHOC for good! After this past season saw some of its lowest ratings, viewers are concerned for the future of the show.

In addition to its reception, Andy Cohen hinted at a "reBOOT", only adding further fuel to the fire, especially since Kelly Dodd's return to the show is uncertain. So, what does the future hole for RHOC? Let's see!

The Real Housewives of Orange County was the franchise that started it all! After first airing back in 2006, the series has expanded to 8 other cities and has become one of the most talked-about reality television shows in history!

While Bravo knows what it's doing when it comes to reality programming, it appears as if they are slacking on their OG show. The show, which has now been on for 15 seasons, has experienced some of its lowest ratings, and fans are blaming cast member Kelly Dodd for this.

The star has become quite a hot topic, particularly this season, after making heinous comments surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic and mocking the Black Lives Matter movement with a hat saying "Drunk Wives Matters". None of this sat well with fans, which reportedly led to a dip in ratings.

Kelly dug herself into a deeper hole come to the reunion after claiming she was "Black" after having taken a DNA test, therefore, she cannot be racist or so she tells herself. With everything having gone down with Dodd, fans are not only demanding that she be fired, but they think the show itself has reached its expiry date.

Considering the ladies of Orange County have been at this for 15 years, it looks like it is time for the ax or a major shakeup!

Well, it seems as if the executive producer and WWHL host, Andy Cohen thinks so too! The star took to Instagram to comment on a post about the RHOC reunion saying that it is time for a "reBOOT".

Fans were fixated on the spelling of the word and its emphasis on "BOOT", which led many to think that Bravo was going to be giving Kelly Dodd the "boot"! If that weren't enough, many fans believed this to be the first step to the show being canceled for good, which wouldn't be the worst thing.

While fans don't know if this meant firing Dodd only or a much more major move, they are excited about it regardless! Considering RHOC is the longest-running of the bunch, something special should definitely be in store, and well just have to sit tight until Bravo tells viewers what that is.
