MTV fired Farrah Abraham, and according to Cheat Sheet, that was because she made an adult movie. MTV felt said that Teen Mom is "family-oriented" so that didn't work for them.
Us Weekly reported that this happened in the fall of 2017 and a source told the publication, “They said it didn’t fit with the brand. Farrah is upset.”
Years later, Farrah talked about leaving the show on social media. She gave her side of the story: “The rest of the women on crew infected with the evil neuroses created fake scenes, drama, disrespected my parenting, disregarded my boundaries from counseling and created fights in front of my daughter. This mom chooses her child over everything," according to Cheat Sheet.
The Fights With Producers
Another reason that Farrah's time on the show ended? She wasn't very nice to producers.
Farrah yelled at a producer named Kristen and according to Radar Online, she screamed and swore at her, saying that her mom, Debra, was sitting in a car for half an hour. Farrah said that no one let her know that her mom was there and she was mad about it.
According to Heavy.com, Farrah also fought with a producer named Larry, as she wanted to be on another reality show. MTV said that was a breach of contract. Farrah was really mean and kept insulting him.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Larry said, "It’s Farrah. She tests everybody around her. Her family, everyone in her life, will get a bit of that. I can be the one that’s a little harder [on her]. I think she ultimately respects me for it. As the co-producer for the series, I oversee the whole show and all the stories and everything going on and the field operations. So I travel with each of the stories. I’m typically sitting in my car listening to what’s being filmed and everything that’s going on, and occasionally I’m called in to deal with a situation."
The Reunion Interview
According to Popculture.com, Farrah appeared on the Teen Mom OG reunion episode that aired in the spring of 2018, and she talked about how she was an "entrepreneur." She said, "Sophia knows I run stores. I'm an entrepreneur. I'm a business mom. She knows about my social efforts in adult entertainment. She knows about all that. So does she know what her mother does? Yeah, there's nothing to hide Dr. Drew."
Farrah also said she is proud and glad to live the life that she does: she said, "So I'm happy that I didn't let people break me from my core, which I felt this production was doing and many other people around me. Not to say anything negative, but those are my feelings. I'm happy that I express that on social media and everywhere I work. According to The Ashleys Reality Round-Up, Farrah Abraham was interviewed on the HollywoodLife podcast. She said that she isn't saying that she will never have another child.
Farrah explained, “Like, I’m open to adoption." She also talked about getting married in the future: “You got to love someone a lot, you got to go through all that stuff. If I ever have a relationship again, yes, it’s going to be a marriage, it’s going to be everything couples do and so I don’t know. But if it’s not the right thing, I’m not going to make someone be there and ya know, make them go through all of that.”
Most recently, Farrah said on social media that this summer, she will "start school at Havard University." According to The Hollywood Gossip, people pointed out that Harvard is spelled "Harvard" and she left out the "r." Farrah posted a video where she asked her daughter Sophia where she was going to school and Sophia said "Harvard." No one is sure if this is true and some people shared in a Reddit thread that maybe Farrah is talking some classes online.
