When it comes to Hollywood relationships, there are a lot of questions that remain unanswered, especially when it comes to celebrity break-ups. Considering how quickly many A-list stars move on, it is only fair to look over in confusion, especially when the marriage itself only lasted for 14 days.

This was the case for none other than Mario Lopez and Ali Landry, who got married back in 2004. After tying the knot, the couple called it quits only 2 weeks afterward, leaving many fans very bewildered. Lopez and Landry's marriage went on to become one of the shortest celebrity marriages ever, a feat we're certain they didn't plan on achieving.

While things went awry for both, Mario Lopez went on to meet Courtney Laine, while Ali Landry re-married in 2006 to Alejandro Monteverde. So, what led to the couple breaking up only two weeks into their nuptials? Let's find out!

Mario & Ali's 2 Week Marriage

When it comes to some of the shortest Hollywood marriages, Kim Kardashian's 72-day marriage to NBA player, Kris Humphries definitely comes to mind. Despite the controversy surrounding her 2013 divorce, Kim still doesn't take the cake for the shortest marriage.

That feat belongs to none other than Britney Spears who married her long-time friend, Jason Alexander back in 2006 at a Las Vegas chapel. The couple filed for an annulment only 56 hours after, making it the shortest marriage, ever!

Another star that has found himself on that very list is none other than Mario Lopez! The star married fellow actress and model, Ali Landry in 2004, however, the couple severed all ties when it came to their "I do's" only two weeks in.

This came as quite a shock to the public, considering the duo appeared to have been madly in love prior to their nuptials. Although they were the epitome of a picture-perfect couple, it seems as if the marriage came to an end due to Mario Lopez's infidelity.

The couple had first met 6 years prior to their wedding at the 1998 Miss Teen USA Pageant. Considering Ali is drop-dead gorgeous, and Mario looks like, well... Mario, it was only fitting for these two to hit it off.

According to Cheat Sheet, the duo dated for 6 years prior to tying the knot, making it clear they were in it for the long run, or so Ali thought.

After getting their marriage annulled 14 days after their wedding, rumors instantly began to swirl as to why, leaving many to believe that the two had gone their separate ways because of Lopez cheating, which ended up being true.

Mario opened up regarding the details of his first divorce in his tell-all book, revealing that he had cheated on Ali during his bachelor party. The actor had initially told Ali that no cheating occurred, which Landry said she believed during her interview with Oprah.

Luckily for Ali, the star has gone on to find love with none other than her hubby, Alejandro Monteverde. The two married in 2006 and share three beautiful children together.

Although things were brought between Ali and Mario following their split, the two are very cordial today. Much like Landry, Mario has also found love with Courtney Laine Mazza, whom he married back in 2012.
