While the two women have had public disputes with a variety of people since gaining fame from MTV, their biggest rival seems to be one another. Lowery and DeJesus have had some epic showdowns both online and in-person since DeJesus joined the cast of Teen Mom 2 in 2017.

10 Briana DeJesus Joins The Cast Of 'Teen Mom 2'
The drama between Teen Mom 2 co-stars Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus first began when DeJesus was asked to join the existing cast. The original cast included Lowry along with Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, and Leah Messer. The four original girls of Teen Mom 2 began filming for the series in 2011. In 2017, DeJesus, a former Teen Mom 3 star, was asked to join the cast for season 8 of Teen Mom 2. Ultimately, Briana was not welcomed with open arms by her castmates.
9 Briana Starts Flirting With Kailyn’s Ex-Husband On Social Media
The same year Briana joined the cast of Teen Mom 2, Kailyn was in the middle of a messy divorce with her husband, Javi Marroquin. Even before the divorce was finalized, both Kailyn and Javi were seeing other people. In Javi’s case, he was seeing and talking to multiple people. In September 2017, Teen Mom 2 fans noticed that Marroquin and DeJesus had become extremely flirty on Twitter. So, of course, Lowry was not happy when she caught wind of what was going down between her new castmate and soon-to-be ex-husband.
8 Things Heat Up Between Javi And Briana
Things went from bad to worse in a hurry between Briana and Kailyn after Javi and Briana started to make appearances together in public. In October 2017, Marroquin made his relationship with DeJesus official, telling People, “We are dating. We’ve been friends for a while, and we weren’t in a rush.” Lowry did not take the news well, tweeting from her Twitter account, “Don’t s**t where you eat.” Lowry went on to make statements that Teen Mom 2 ratings had been down since Briana had joined the cast.
7 Briana And Javi Take A Family Trip With All The Kids
The same month Javi and Briana made their relationship official, they took a family trip with all their children. At the time, this included Javi’s son Lincoln Marroquin and former step-son Isaac Rivera, as well as Briana’s two daughters Nova and Stella DeJesus. The couple took all their kids for a fun trip to Disney World. This trip only added fuel to DeJesus and Lowry’s fire as Javi failed to tell Kailyn that he planned to meet up with Briana and her girls while taking their boys on vacation.
6 Social Media Becomes A Battleground For Kailyn And Briana
After months of back and forth during the latter half of 2017, social media officially became a battleground for Kailyn and Briana. The two spent the better parts of 2017 and 2018 in heated exchanges on Twitter and Instagram. At the end of 2017, DeJesus even posted a private text exchange between Lowry and Marroquin to her Twitter. Unfortunately, things didn’t stop there. DeJesus also posted photos with Marroquin to her Instagram with the caption #iwon. In retaliation, Lowry posted to Twitter with the response, “#iwon more time with my son.”
5 A Series Of Hair Pulling At The 'Teen Mom 2' Reunion
After months of back and forth online between DeJesus and Lowry, the two women finally met face-to-face at the Teen Mom 2 reunion in mid-2018. Drama quickly ensued, with Lowry and DeJesus finally being in the same physical location. Allegedly, Lowry asked DeJesus to meet up and square up away from the cameras. While DeJesus declined, she then tried to fight Lowry with the help of her sister, Brittney DeJesus, during a sit-down portion of the Teen Mom 2 reunion. While no punches were thrown, there was a fair bit of screaming and hair-pulling that occurred on the set. Both Lowry and DeJesus acted recklessly during this altercation, trying to physically fight with the rest of their castmates on stage, including a pregnant Chelsea Houska.
4 Briana Sets Her Sights On Kailyn’s New Baby Daddy, Chris Lopez
After their physical altercation at the Teen Mom 2 reunion, things only seemed to get worse between Lowry and DeJesus. While the relationship between Javi and Briana fizzled out nearly as quickly as their relationship had started, the two women still found things to fight about, including Lowry’s new baby daddy Chris Lopez. Lopez is the father of Lowry’s two youngest sons Lux, born in 2017, and Creed, born in 2020. In regard to Lopez, Briana took to Twitter in late 2018, telling fans that Lopez was physically abusive and that Lowry was choosing a man over the safety of her children.
3 Kailyn Starts Talking To Briana’s Baby Daddy, Devoin Austin
While fences were never mended between Lowry and DeJesus, their feud seemed to have a cooling period from 2019 to 2020. However, the feuding has seemed to pick up once again in 2021. One reason for this was that Lowry began talking to Briana’s baby Daddy Devoin Austin early in the year. Lowry asked Devion, the father of Briana’s oldest daughter Nova DeJesus, to come on her and Lindsie Chrisley’s podcast Coffee Convos.
2 Kailyn Files a Lawsuit Against Briana for Defamation
Of course, DeJesus was less than thrilled with Lowry and Austin’s interaction, causing more drama to ensue. In late 2020, Lowry was arrested for allegedly assaulting Chris Lopez. When this information was not included in the recent season of Teen Mom 2, DeJesus took to social media to voice her disgust.
DeJesus also told Celebuzz, “Like Kail is sitting on the show legitimately filming about a wallpaper color choice when she could be filming about a domestic abuse situation with Chris that I was told she was trying to hide.” Ultimately, DeJesus’s latest comments have spurred Lowry to file a lawsuit against her for defamation.
1 Will Kailyn And Briana’s Feud Ever End?
Lowry’s lawsuit against DeJesus was officially filed in June 2021. According to People, Lowry's defamation lawsuit alleges that DeJesus made untrue statements for the purpose of causing Lowery harm. These statements include DeJesus asserting that Lowry had physically assaulted Chris Lopez and broke into his mother’s home. With the lawsuit just taking off, there’s no telling how long Kailyn and Briana’s epic feud will continue.
