When a season of a reality show ends, it's always impossible to stop talking about the drama, especially with a hit show like Netflix's Love Is Blind. Since the show is all about singles connecting and not seeing each other's faces for a while, it's no wonder that it has become so popular.
The season 1 cast is still getting lots of buzz, with fans wondering if they were mean to Jessica, and everyone eager to learn what Jessica Batten has been doing. The three-episode special After The Altar was definitely going to give fans something new to talk about, and it turns out that Too Hot To Handle's Francesca Farago was on the show, too. Francesca's Appearance
Too Hot To Handle fans remember Francesca Farago, and she got lots of buzz for her relationship with Harry Jowsey. Fans were surprised to hear the story behind the reality couple's break-up.
When fans tuned into After The Altar, they saw one scene that gave everyone pause. Damian went out with Francesca Farago, and there seemed to be some sparks flying, which was confusing since Damian was still in a relationship with Giannina. Damian talked to Francesca about the positive things going on in his life, and if people didn't know that he had a girlfriend, it seemed like they were on a date. At the very least, it seemed like they really liked each other.
When Damian invited Francesca to the two-year anniversary party, fans were totally shocked and had lots of questions. Giannina explained how she felt about seeing Francesca at the party.
As the reality star told E! News, "Me and Damian, we weren't in a good place. Maybe that's why he felt like he had to bring somebody along. [We] were dating for two and a half years, so he knew it was coming after that. He knew that I wasn't going to let him get away with it that easily. When I was talking to [Francesca], I didn't know if she was just really out of the loop, or she was just trying to be nice to me, but I felt like she was getting mixed signals too. You just wanted to get down to the bottom of it. It just felt really off to me."
It seems that Francesca appeared on After The Altar because she and Damian had been friends for a little while. According to Insider.com, they were hanging out one evening and paparazzi photos were snapped of them, and it seemed like they were holding hands. This was also mentioned on the Netflix show. According to Insider.com, the cast didn't seem to know that Francesca would appear on the show. Amber Pike said, "I don't think we understood exactly what was happening. There's a crossover that nobody was warned about. I was like, 'Wait, "Too Hot To Handle," should we be in bikinis right now?'"
Gigi And Damian's Romance
Fans were speechless to see Francesca come to the party because it had seemed like Giannina and Damian were in a super-serious relationship. Fans know that while they didn't get married, they did reunite after the show finished filming. Giannina told Insider.com that she and Damian decided to go their separate ways once the anniversary party was over. This is sad for fans to hear, since they had been together for around two years.
Giannina shared that she sent Francesca a nice, friendly DM before the special became available for streaming on Netflix. She said, "To me, DMing her was really me accepting that I've moved on so much that it doesn't even bother me." Giannina told Entertainment Tonight that she is doing great after the break-up. She explained how she's feeling and how she thinks about the relationship, and her words are relatable for anyone who has moved on from a relationship that just isn't right.
Giannina said, "We had some really great moments in our relationship. Like some of my best memories, ever ... but at the end of the day, we just weren't as compatible as we should have been after dating for two years. If the relationship isn't easy and you're kind of arguing over these little things, things that you should have moved on from, it's just like, 'All right. What's happening?'"
Fans were glad to hear more of the season 1 cast's stories on After The Altar. While it was very dramatic to see Damian and Francesca together, and it's too bad that Damian and Giannina are no longer a couple, it sounds like everything worked out for the best.
