Although American Idol alum Chris Daughtry is known for being the frontman for the rock band Daughtry and the rottweiler on The Masked Singer, he is also known for being a family man. He and his wife Deanna share four children, fathering her two older children from a previous marriage.
Along with their entire family, he has done their best to keep their children out of the public eye as best as they can. However, Daughtry's stepchildren Hannah and Griffin seemed to be professionals at privacy, especially Hannah.
Daughtry's oldest daughter Hannah was found dead by police in her Nashville home on Nov. 12. Following the news, it was announced that the band would be postponing upcoming shows, and that the singer would be flying home to be with his family during this tragedy.
Deanna's Heartbreaking Thoughts
The news has since shocked loved ones, especially her mother, who recently posted a tribute to Hannah on Instagram while hinting circumstances of her death. Following the post, she captioned the photos, "My first born. I love you endlessly Hannah. Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah. We are awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death. Our hearts are broken."
Multiple people have since commented on the post, including singer Lee Ann Womack who said, "Beautiful Hannah and Deanna... I love you both." Other people who commented with their condolences include country singer Brett Kissel and Daughtry bass guitarist Josh Paul.
The Mystery Surrounding The Deceased Stepdaughter
People have since wanted to know about Hannah and her life out of the spotlight. The 25-year-old managed to stay active on social media, while making it unknown that she was related to Daughtry. However, the major thing she did to conceal the information was making her name on her Instagram "ME" rather than "Hannah Daughtry."
According to her Instagram, she has two children named Liam and Lilly, who she clearly loved with all of her heart. Her last Instagram post regarding her children was about Lilly due to "baby fever." She then thanked her loved ones for supporting her in the same photo and paid a special tribute to her mother. "I’m so blessed to have my mother, who has taught me so much & has been by my side through thick and thin. She has shown me what true love is and True love requires a lot of sacrifice...my mother is the reason for so many blessings in my life.."
Although it was made aware that she was in a romantic relationship before her death, it is unclear at this time if she was married, or involved with the man who is her children's father. His name and information is also unknown, but he can be seen on multiple Instagram posts.
As of this publication, her family and investigators are currently waiting for the results of her autopsy. At the conclusion of the statement release regarding Hannah's death, representatives said, "Further details will be made available at a later date. The investigation into this tragic death is still on going."
November 14, 2021 Update: TMZ reported that Hannah's death has been ruled as a homicide, and her boyfriend named Bobby Jolly has been arrested due to possibly being a person of interest involving her passing, but police have not confirmed that as of this update. As Hannah's body was found, Jolly was arrested on the same day, taken to Fentress County Jail. There will also be an investigation for Fentress County.
