It's always heartbreaking when onscreen duos don't get along in real life. So you'd be relieved to know that 2 Broke Girls lead stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs are also offscreen best friends. Yes, the two genuinely like each other. No, they actually love each other, they go on adventures together as well. Probably without the epic mishaps of their characters Max and Caroline (that we know of). So what's Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs's friendship really like?

They Have Pet Names For Each Other

This Instagram post is the best visual representation of what Kat Dennings said in Media's PaleyFest 2013—"Beth and I genuinely love each other and are best friends in real life." Just look at them celebrating their milestone together like two little girls bonding.

They probably have more unique pet names for each other. We totally see them having inside jokes tied to those, too. That should explain their characters' great chemistry on the show.

They're Really Goofy Around Each Other

Okay, this Les Miserables scene was supposed to be a tear-jerker. But in classic Max and Caroline fashion, Dennings and Behrs's reenactment was the complete opposite. They're just like us, making a fool of ourselves with our best friends, reenacting all sorts of stuff.

They're not just real-life best friends. They're actual Max and Caroline, only they're definitely not as broke. It does make you miss 2 Broke Girls, for sure.

They Go On Date Nights

Real BFFs go on date nights. Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs make it look like they're out to get in some trouble together though. Once again, proving to us that they're partners in crime like Max and Caroline.

We're not sure they still get into late-night mischiefs since Beth Behrs got married in 2018 to Mad Men's Michael Gladis who's known for his role as Paul Kinsey. But we're sure they still meet for at least brunch or FaceTime catch-up sessions.

Dennings seems like the type to entertain Behrs with her single gal humor. We can only imagine Behrs's reaction when Dennings appealed for a Kiwi to marry her so she can be a citizen in New Zealand.

Kat Dennings Was One Of Beth Behrs's Bridesmaids

Of course, Dennings was a bridesmaid at Behrs's wedding. She even helped plan her BFF's dream bridal shower. In Behrs's thank-you post on Instagram, she said, "Man, I really felt the love today. Thank you @emilybehrs @maureenbehrs and all the amazing women in my life for the most gorgeous shower and most special day! I love you all so much!"

We're sure Behrs would also be there when Dennings's turn comes. No doubt, she will be throwing her an unforgettable bridal shower or bachelorette party. Kiwi boys, please slide into Kat Dennings's DMs already!

They Love Working With Each Other

Beth Behrs told PopCulture.com after 2 Broke Girls ended that she hopes to work with Kat Dennings again someday. "That'd be amazing," she said. Dennings also seems to have supported Behrs throughout the show's course. Compared to Behrs, Dennings already had an established acting career before the series.

Meanwhile, it was Beth Behrs' Funny or Die college videos that got her the role of Caroline. Having Dennings as a close friend must have helped her ease into her first big break. And together, they rose into stardom despite the critics' opinion against the series.

Could They Be Planning A '2 Broke Girls' Reunion?

Kat Dennings has also expressed wanting to work with Beth Behrs again. When asked about the possibility of a 2 Broke Girls reunion, Dennings told People Now, "Oh my god, I would. I don't think anyone has ever... broached that topic with me, I would! I think it would be fun, like a reunion!"

But Behrs's idea for a reunion may not be a 2 Broke Girls continuation like what Dennings is down for. According to Behrs, she likes the mystery they left at the ending of the show. She said they told their story the best they could, leaving it to the audience to imagine what happened to Max and Caroline. That's understandable, especially since it's easy to imagine the characters' fate through the actresses' friendship behind the camera.

Whether it's a 2 Broke Girls revival or not, one thing's for sure, fans are waiting for Dennings and Behrs to play more best friend roles on-screen. Maybe even a nemesis dynamic in a comedy would be great. Just to see these two together again, right? In the meantime, we can keep rewatching 2 Broke Girls and it's cute behind the scenes on YouTube.
