David Blaine, the controversial magician and endurance artist, boasts a net worth of forty million dollars according to Celebrity Net Worth. His 2018 tour, aptly titled "David Blaine Live," earned him approximately thirteen-and-a-half million dollars alone. His most recent stunt, in which he flew over the Arizona desert, broke records and landed upwards of 770,000 viewers on YouTube live.

Though his public stunts and tricks are wildly popular, Blaine makes most of his money performing for private parties and doing corporate gigs. Interestingly enough, when he is not performing, the illusionist is actually a very private man. His social media presence is minimal to say the least, and he seems to be highly adept at keeping his distance from the paparazzi. That being the case, it is quite hard to get a read on the illusionist's spending habits, but still it is not impossible. So, here's the million-dollar question – how does the mysterious magician spend hisvast fortune?

9 His Chinatown Lair

David Blaine purchased his 4,400 Square foot Magic Lab, or his “lair,” as he likes to call it, for an undisclosed amount of money in 2002. The space features not only his lab where he workshops his tricks, but it also includes several administrative offices, Blaine's spacious motorcycle garage, and a gym.

8 Harry Houdini Merchandise

Blaine decorated his lair with posters and all sorts of memorabilia from his favorite magicians, especially Harry Houdini, who Blaine has long worshipped. Blaine purchased an original advertising poster for one of Harry Houdini’s tricks that cost Blaine upwards of $100,000. He also purchased several unpublished copies of Houdini’s notes for an undisclosed price. All of this now decorates Blaine's Chinatown headquarters.

7 Vacations In Europe

It's not uncommon for the fabulously wealthy to enjoy taking trips, and David Blaine is no exception. Blaine likes to take luxurious vacations to scenic ski resorts and gorgeous private beaches in and around Europe. He also often travels to Pari, France to visit his only daughter who currently lives there with Blaine's ex-fiancée, Alizee Guinochet. Most famously, he vacationed in Switzerland with Madonna in 2015, where he helped the famous pop singer reconcile with her estranged son.

David Blaine put his Fifth Avenue co-op up for sale in 2016, almost twenty years after he initially purchased the home for an undisclosed amount of money. It's unclear how much it actually sold for, but Blaine listed the property at a whopping $2.27 million.

5 A Condo In Tribeca

Not far from the Hudson River is David Blaine's other New York dwelling. His Tribeca home was purchased in 2005 for $1.675 million and has been his primary residence since selling the co-op in 2016. The city of New York is where Blaine was born and raised, so it makes perfect sense that it is where he still resides (although his home now is certainly much more lavish than the one in which he grew up!)

4 Fancy Motorcycles

When spotted out and about in the wild, David Blaine is often seen whipping around the streets of New York on one of his many motorcycles. His BMW model, which is the one he is spotted riding the most, can be purchased for somewhere between $15,000 -$20,000. In other words, it ain't cheap. Blaine's "lair" also has a garage for his bikes, one of which was a gift from the Prince of Jordan. One can only imagine how expensive that gift must have been.
