Sometimes, Hollywood marriages can be notoriously short, from a few hours to days or months. Then there are those marriages that seem to have stood the test of time.
L.A.'s Finest star Jessica Alba and her husband of 15 years, producer Cash Warren, seem to have found the formula to a lasting union. The pair met in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four and have been together ever since.
They're a fan favorite pair who've managed to keep their lives private despite sharing aspects of their family life with their followers. If their cute family posts are anything to go by, they are seemingly enjoying marital bliss. It makes sense that their marriage has lasted so long.
Although there have been divorce rumors which were exacerbated by Jessica's bare ring finger. The two are seemingly as happy as ever, though, and it all started when they met by chance.
Jessica Was With Someone Else When They Met
Jessica Alba, is, undeniably, one of the biggest names in Hollywood. She was at the height of her career when she met Cash Warren on the set of Fantastic Four. He worked as a director's assistant on the movie.
At least something good came out of the movie, considering it almost made the star quit acting.
At the time, Alba was dating someone else, so her relationship with Warren was purely platonic. Although it was love at first sight for her, they didn't get together immediately. What attracted her to him was his spirit and mind.
Prior to meeting Warren, Alba was linked to some big names in Hollywood. She was even engaged to Michael Weatherly, but that didn't work out.
In a 2013 interview with Instyle, Jessica spoke about Cash, saying "I just knew when I met him that I was going to know him forever. It was weird; he instantly felt like family. It was so easy."
She added, "I’d never felt like that with anyone. I was usually pretty self-conscious, minding my p’s and q’s, very aware of every time my fork hit the plate when I was having dinner on a date. With him, there was none of that. We got each other. We’re kindred spirits."
Is There Trouble In Paradise?
It's easy to put our favorite celebrity couples on pedestals. This makes many people forget that when it comes to love, celebrities are just like average people. They sometimes face the same challenges and heartbreak as everyone else.
While Jessica and Cash's marriage may seem perfect from the outside, it obviously has its challenges, just like all marriages do.
In 2021, there were claims of trouble in paradise. According to reports, Jessica's ring finger has been noticeably bare. She's allegedly been spotted out without her ring, and that has fueled the divorce rumors even further.
Alba appeared on the Katherine Schwarzenegger show, Before, During, and After Baby. She revealed some facts about her marriage, which left fans wondering about the state of her relationship.
"It's all rosy for 2 1/2 years. But then after that, you become roommates. You're just going through the motions. You have the responsibilities. It's a lot of, like, checking the boxes, right?"
She spoke about how people get comfortable in relationships and take each other for granted.
"We have, like, obviously the friendship, the comfort of, like, 'you're not going anywhere', and so sometimes you don't treat those people the best, right? You don't consider their feelings in the way that you would consider other people's feelings."
She added, "So that is something that I think is a constant one to work on."
They Haven't Commented On The Rumors
At this point, neither Alba nor Warren have commented on the divorce rumors. It's purely speculation, there have been several rumors of them hitting a rough patch over the years. Yet, they're still seemingly going strong.
Being a celebrity is no easy feat, having every aspect of their lives closely monitored has got to be difficult.
In January 2022, Jessica shared a cute family photo to her Instagram account. It featured her, Cash, their three children and two adorable puppies.
The pair has been together for over 13 years and has three children together. They've been gushing about each in interviews and on cute Instagram posts over the years.
Back in 2014, Alba dished on her marriage to Warren in an interview with Parade.
She said, "I think we have an incredible amount of respect for each other, and we value each other’s opinion and time. And I feel like we’re in it together, we’re not petty with each other, and we communicate a lot."
Adding, "But the most critical ingredient for wedded bliss? Don’t forget date nights! I think you have to. I think that’s essential."
