It's always sweet when a celebrity marries their high school or college sweetheart, or someone who isn't part of Hollywood. While these love stories are just as fun to hear about, there's no denying that it's pretty cool when two famous people get married and start a family.
While fans will always associate Justin Timberlake with ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, he has been married to Jessica Biel since 2012, and the two seem like a wonderful couple.
Biel is best known for starring as Mary Camden on 7th Heaven but she also wowed audiences in season one of the thriller TV series The Sinner.

A Party And A Phone Call
Fans didn't even know Jessica Biel was pregnant with her second child and the couple does keep their love story fairly private.
When Timberlake hosted a birthday party for a friend, Biel was a guest, and Biel told GQ that's when they "technically met." According to Insider.com, Timberlake wanted to talk to Biel on the phone, and he talked to his pal about whether he would be able to phone her.
They talked and he asked her out. Timberlake said, "I had to be pretty persistent in order to get her to say yes. But I have a fair amount of tenacity and if I want something I stick to it. And in the end, she agreed."
According to USA Today, Timberlake said that he is "old-fashioned" when it comes to dating and he thought that actually talking on the phone would be the best way to go. He said, "I did it the old-fashioned way – by telephone. … The way I see it, if you're asking a girl out on a date, it's only right to do it in a way that she can hear your voice."
While the couple says that their story began with this birthday party, it does seem like they also interacted at the Golden Globe awards in 2007. Beverly Mitchell said that the couple clearly liked each other when they met: according to Today.com, Mitchell said, "I was there like the moment the love connection happened. I was like, 'OK, this is happening.'"
Mitchell continued, "It was so cute because they were like — it's that moment like, 'I like you, I think you like me.' It was very, very sweet. They were definitely flirting. They were really cute."
A Break-Up Then Engagement
Sometimes couples split up before getting back together for good, and that's exactly what happened here.
According to USA Today, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake broke up in March 2011. A few months after that, they started dating again, and they were engaged in December 2011.
Timberlake explained that he proposed while asking Biel to stare at the beautiful mountains in front of them. He said, “When I did propose, I was saying to her, I was like, 'Oh, look at the shadows on the mountains,' and I had the ring on my pinkie. She was like, ‘Oh yeah, that’s beautiful,’ and I was like, 'Do you see it?'"
The wedding took place in 2012 in Italy and looks like it was amazing and beautiful. When Biel took her walk down the aisle, Timberlake played a song on guitar that he had penned for the ceremony, which sounds incredible.
Married Life And Parenthood
Jessica Biel and Justin are parents to a five-year-old son, Silas, and according to E! Online, Justin Timberlake told Ellen DeGeneres when he appeared on her show in January 2021 that they had a second son, Phineas.
Timberlake shared that having two children had made things busier in their household as they would take turns taking care of each kid. He said, "We don't see each other anymore."
Fans remember that the couple went through a rough patch: according to Cheat Sheet, while Biel was expecting their second child, there were photos circulating of Justin Timberlake and his co-star Alisha Wainwright holding hands.
This happened in November of 2019, and a source explained, "He had too much to drink and got carried away. [Justin] says it was not a big deal, they were all hanging out together and that’s the end of the story."
