Matthew Perry is certainly one name that you've heard of before! The Hollywood icon first came to prominence in mainstream television in 1994 after being cast as none other than Chandler Bing in the hit television series, 'Friends'. The hilarious character portrayed by Perry instantly became a fan favorite, leading millions upon millions of viewers to tune in each and every week to watch the hilarity, and awkwardness that Perry brought to his character.

Despite earning himself millions of dollars, and being regarded as one of the most successful television actors of all time, Matthew found himself in a dark place come the end of his post 'Friends' show, 'Mr. Sunshine', which was canceled after only one season. Perry also dabbled with drugs and alcohol, both during his time on 'Friends' and after, leading him to suffer professionally. Luckily for the star, he not only cleaned himself up but found himself getting cast in an array of productions, including his most recent sitcom, 'The Odd Couple'. Perry is not expected to star alongside Meryl Steep in the 2021 film, 'Don't Look Up'.

Things were definitely looking up for Matthew in regards to both his professional and personal life. In 2018, Perry began dating literary manager, Molly Hurwitz. The two fell in love quite quickly and spent the holidays together for the first time as a couple. Come 2019, the duo was spotted out and about quite frequently, however, that came to an end after their split earlier this year. The duo ended their relationship in May 2020, and fans were shocked to hear the news. Matthew had mentioned just how much "needed stability" Hurwitz brought to his life, making just about everyone confused over why the two didn't work out.

Luckily for Perry, it seems as if the split was simply a momentary lapse in judgment. The couple began dating again over the summer, and are now officially engaged! Perry revealed the news to People Magazine, claiming that he has decided to get engaged to the "greatest woman on the face of this planet", said Perry. With his upcoming nuptials, and a 'Friends' reunion coming in 2021, Matthew Perry is back and better than ever!
