Still, both admit that Tess is the "nuts and bolts" of their family unit, while Max is more the fun one.

With a name like Sanchez, fans of course want to know what Tess' heritage is. It's clear from both her social media and articles about her (as Fox's head casting director as far back as 2012) that Sanchez has Latino roots.
