Peyton List may be one of the busiest working actors in Hollywood. The fact that she started her career so early and has worked consistently since 2002 when she was a literal child has definitely accounted for her $7 million net worth. According to Celebrity Net Worth, this is what this 22-year-old Disney Channel star has banked.

And that's pretty impressive...

Like many Disney Channel stars, such as AJ and Aly Michalka, as well as some incredibly rich ones, Peyton List has done her best to break out of her Disney Channel persona. The alabaster blond is best known for her role as Emma Ross in Disney Channel's Jessie as well as in Bunk'd, her very own spin-off series. However, thanks to the Diary of a Whimpy Kid movies as well as Netflix, Cobra Kai, Peyton is quickly becoming associated with other projects.

All of which has added to her $7 Million net worth which appears to be growing by the day...

It All Started When Peyton Was A "Little Girl"

In Peyton List's first two roles, in the soap opera As The World Turns and Spider-Man 2, she was listed as "Little Girl". But this was a big accomplishment given that the roles were in 2002 and she was only born in 1998. Her roles were small until 2008 when she was cast as the younger version of Katherine Heigl in 27 Dresses and in Lucy Liu's Cashmere Mafia.

All of this set Peyton up as a successful actor, something her parents clearly wanted. After all, both of her brothers (twin Spencer and younger brother Phoenix) also went into acting at a very, very young age.

After a string of other small roles in larger projects, Peyton was cast as Holly Hills in Diary Of A Whimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. This was followed by the third edition to the Whimpy Kid movies which Peyton reprised her "popular" girl role.

Around the same time, Peyton was approached by Disney Channel... a moment that lifted her career into the stratosphere.

Joining The Disney Channel And Struggling To Break Out Of It

In 2011, Peyton List was formally asked to join the Disney Channel series Jessie, the eldest of four rich kids. Alongside Peyton was Disney Channel alumna Debby Ryan (Suite Life On Deck). At the time, this was Peyton List's biggest role, especially since Jessie was a smashing success for the Disney Channel. Although it only ran for four seasons, it gave Peyton a large and constant paycheck. It also allowed her to reprise her role in the spinoff series Bunk'd.

Her character of Emma Ross was so popular that Peyton was asked to bring her on other Disney Channel shows, such as I Didn't Do It and Austin & Ally.

Around the same time, Peyton was allowed to expand her acting repertoire (sort of) by appearing in A Sister's Nightmare, The Thining (alongside Logan Paul who she was rumored to have had a fling with), and Victoria Justice's Outcasts.

Then there was The Trouble With Cali and The Seventh Dwarf which were anything but received positively. Hey, everyone needs a flop or two.

Life After The Disney Channel

After a 2016 Disney Channel original movie, The Swap, Peyton started to move away from Disney Channel projects. However, she didn't announce that she would fully depart the channel until she finished Bunk'd in 2018. Ever since, she has been trying to cast herself in a larger variety of projects including Then Came You alongside Asa Butterfield and the darker independent film Anthem Of A Teenage Prophet. She starred in the latter film with Shameless' Cameron Monaghan, who she ended up dating for two years.

After her relationship with the famous Shameless actor ended, Peyton was cast as the lead in a web series called Light as a Feather, which eventually released on Hulu. She was also cast as the voice of Batgirl/Barbara Gordon in the direct-to-video movie Batman: Hush. Then came her recurring role as Tory on Cobra Kai, which began as a Youtube Premium action series and was ultimately acquired by Netflix.

So far, Peyton has made 2020 a very memorable year despite the pandemic. She has released the independent film remake of Valley Girl, as well as Swimming For Gold, and she even took part in Netflix's Hubie Halloween alongside Adam Sandler.

On top of all of this, Peyton has found ways of diversifying her stream of revenue. This includes product endorsements, modeling, and her music. In 2018, Peyton released a single called "Liar Liar". Then, in 2019, she released another called "Don't Cry". They paired nicely with her appearance in the music video for Little Mix's "Only You".

Perhaps one of the other ways Peyton List has maintained a $7 million net worth is the fact that she doesn't really spend a lot of money, according to Nicki Swift.

"I usually only try to buy one or two things when I go out shopping," Peyton told Fashionista in an interview. "I try to keep my closet more limited [to a] small amount of things that I really love."

With so much on her IMDB and many more titles to come, we really don't see Peyton List's net worth shrinking any time soon.
