We did a social media campaign where I watched some of the episodes. But I don't think it really appeals to me. My kids are a little too young for it and I'm too old for it."
According to Advanced Television, the actress appeared at Comic Con Liverpool with Jenna Leigh Green and Beth Broderick, known for their Sabrina roles as Libby and Aunt Zelda. While there, the actors talked about the Netflix show, and they mentioned the differences between the two series.
Hart said the show is "satanic" and Leigh Green said that the shows didn't have much in common. She explained, “It’s very dark. [Ours] was very wholesome and family friendly. The new one is very different. We would have never got away with that.”

Shipka loves how tough and organized Sabrina is: she told Glamour UK, "The fact that Sabrina is able to maintain a relationship and go through all this witch nonsense is incredible."
When celebrating Sabrina The Teenage Witch's 20th anniversary in 2016, Hart said that not all reboots are good as they are "hard to do right." According to ABC News Go, she said, "I think sometimes it’s better to just leave it in the past unless you do it really, really great.”
